Why would you not grease outside of the bearings (the space between the frame seal and the bearing)? Apart from more difficult cleanup, there's really no downsides in my opinion.

We recommend grease on the contact surfaces of the hardware, so also between the sealed cap and the inner race of the bearing. But you are right that too much will only collect dirt.

The mismatched suspension is triggering my ocd.
