Everything she does has meaning. She represented Cleopatra's entrance into Rome. According history Cleopatra entered Rome as a goddess, the romans hated her, they didn't like how pretentious she was, it was hostile territory. Madonna, the Queen of LGBT Community, entered into this macho enviroment (hostile territory too) which is the Super Bowl, showing her power, leaving them in awe. The spectacle had more rating than the game itself, which is funny, all the gays were watching this show at the same time!! Stunning!! The best SuperBowl Halftime Show in History!!! That entrance won't be matched, ever!! Long live the Queen!!

Madonna is the female artist with the best superbowl halftime show (Billboard). Madonna redefined superbowl shows. And thanks to her the NFL once again put female artists as protagonists in that show. Example ; Beyoncé, Katy perry, Lady Gaga, Shakira & Jlo.

No one has ever topped that freaking stage, no fake audience needed or cheap fireworks, that's the queen showing how it's done, she's the top touring artist after all. The camara couldn't take everything that was happening, she was doing 2 shows at the same time, for the people at the stadium and for the ones at home.

Without a question the best half time show ever, and another great reaction! I have always wondered if anyone else ever noticed that she almost slipped and fell down quite early into "Music"?! She clearly slips there, but gets her balance back quite soon.. 🎉❤

@@alexgiron8148 yes I know she looks surprised but I always assumed she was acting surprised because he ripped off very suddenly and the show with LMFAO is quite funny with Madonna, I never asked myself about that but maybe you’re right. I still think it was an act though.
The entrance is totally inspired by Elizabeth Taylor's entrance into Rome in Cleopatra. Epic in every way. Millennial pop stars can't adopt and present pop culture references like this. Also remember this Madonna at 54 performing with the energy of people half her age.

Never was I a half-time fan; but this performance changed my mind ever since. I’ve been watching every half-time show since then.
Jennifer Lopez & Shakira did a fantastic show but Madonna is still my #1
Fantastic show. It’s easy to forget that Madonna has real charisma because in spite of guests and dancers you really look at her doing her thing. Of course the songs are good but her attention to details really made this halftime show one of my fav of not my ultimate fav, a feast for the eyes and ears. Fun fact: I heard back then she really was scared that the gladiators marching in the beginning ( they were not professionals but locals) she was scared they wouldn’t walk in rythme and then ruined the entrance ! And it all went great, the entrance indeed was everything. A queen 👑 Madonna made a mesmerizing halftime show ❤️
Listen to that crowd? They never stopped screaming. AT A FOOTBALL GAME! That is serious star power.

FYI They said, they can tell how many people watch the half time performance by how many people go to the bathroom. By the water pressure. They said, When madonna came on to Perform the water pressure barely moved , which meant people didn't leave they stayed to watch her performance.

Her entrance was absolutely based on Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra. I remember telling all the straight guys that were watching the Super Bowl with us that I’d give them $50 if they could tell me the movie that inspired it. Needless to say I kept my money.

Not saying the show in it’s entirety wasn’t inspired by Kylie by any means. Just saying the entrance was a direct take of Elizabeth Taylor entering Rome in Cleopatra.

She is always such a intelligent woman she announced she will perform at the halftime show at the age of 54. The whole world quaked for that announcement. Then her beef with elton John. He shaded her good luck lipsync at the halftime show. Her beef with Lady Gaga too Make ppl wonder what a 54 year olds woman can do at the big show n most of them expected her to fail But she let them all homophobics, sexists, ageism having it She always knows what she is doing, she aint shit, she is about that life, always. The GMAYL video is fun as hell. She specifically made it as a lead up to the Halftime show as it has a football theme.

NFL actually tried to sue m.i.a. for the middle finger for 1.5 million in damages saying that she "corrupted the wholesome nature of the nfl" LMAO she won tho and has always been and continues to be the biggest badass ever but on the flipside it really damaged her career with the higher ups gatekeeping her from achieving her rightful success even with big songs bad girls

I’ve always liked, Give me all your luvin’. It’s got a great catchy beat. Seems like it’s not a favorite amongst many Madonna fans though for whatever reason. I recommend reacting to the music video. It’s pretty fun! And, to all you people goin on and on and on about it was pre-recorded, almost EVERY Super Bowl halftime show is pre-recorded. Dereck. This production was the best ever. Just one suggestion I have for you. Don’t assume that everyone has seen this video. You’re giving away all the surprises. Who pops up to perform with her? What song is next? The cool mix of her songs. Let your audience be has surprised as we all were in 2012. This is what an A game looks like. She was the first to utilize the field in front of her. It was amazing. She handed out finger lights to every member of the audience. Her goal was to create a show that include something that would appeal to everyone. The spectacle in the beginning. Kids of all ages would love it. This was an all American show. Cheerleaders. A marching band and a choir. Best ever 13 minute production.
Please react to Girl Gone Wild -MDNA Tour. It is phenomenal! I loved that entire show. I think you’d also like Express Yourself from Blond Ambition. That tour completely reinvented the concert experience.

You should react to “Give Me All Your Luv” as it was intended to be used at the Super Bowl, which the video shows the football theme.
Madonna says she was under high stress during this performance. She’s performing on a stage that is promised to her to work. If it doesn’t, her neck is on the line. She says after this performance, she laid on the floor in the locker room and cried.
The first time that more people watched the halftime show than watched the game. AND she had sprained her ankle in rehearsals the day or two beforehand and still performed.

EPIC show....her mid 50s and she owned it, the MDNA album showcased in 2012 she hd the energy and creativity to push forward and be ahead of todays lot....it's a post-divorce album full of high energy anthems, vapid lyrics ver yEXTRA production...personally I love it! Recommend that album...GMAYL video is worth it too...and Girl Gone Wild video!

it matches well with the sports arena theme because romans had their games on that kind stadium
MDNA was about to come out. Gimme All Your Luvin' was just released as a single, with a football themed fun video too. Video is better than the song, but that's why she did that song here, to promote the album's release. If you look at the throne she is brought in on, MDNA is spray painted in graffiti on the back of the chair. Cirque du Soleil helped with the performance too. Best SuperBowl halftime ever. No question.

Love the reaction! The reason you were getting both Roman and Egyptian vibes from the entrance performance was that it was inspired by the 1963 film where Elizabeth Taylor portrayed Cleopatra arriving in Rome in a similar fashion. She almost certainly knew she had the Super Bowl deal in the bag when she made the music video to that song, as it is very football/cheerleader themed, so in a way it was created especially for this very moment. This is probably why the song got so much time in this halftime performance.
only Madonna can think of such a concept then translate it into a spectacular performance.
