I'm happy we can still celebrate these two Iconic performers! In terms of comparison of shows, Madonna had the label backing for production so her show had a lot more to offer, while Janet is an independent artist and has been since 2009 so her show budget is completely out of her own pocket. I'm not a Madonna fan, but she gave a great show from what I saw and Janet has really recreated her current tour from last year and I will definitely be going again. They're simply the blueprints of female performers and this world wouldn't be the same without them!

I have loved and been in awe of Ms. Janet since childhood, my lil sister and I will be attending her show in Chicago on Juneteenth 🎉🎉 This will be bittersweet because we are seeing a legend and thee Icon, I just wish our older sister could be with us, but sadly we lost her in 2021 to COVID. My big sis was obsessed with Janet since "86" and their birthdays are a couple days apart, But i feel her presence everywhere I go❣️We are going to celebrate Kenya while experiencing Janet's incredible live show.

Absolutely!!! I been a fan of both since I can remember. My top 3 favs are MJ, JJ and Madonna. Back in my day you could be fans of multiple artists unlike today people feel u can only have one artist. Smdh. 😆

Loved this review and love both artists. I wish we as a society can appreciate our veteran artists more and stop comparing them to the youngins or even to each other. Both of these women are the blueprint for so many that came after them and it’s truly an honor and privilege to see them still loving their crafts and putting on amazingly live shows. Cheers and salute to both of these beautiful Queens!!

I seen Janet last night. She is my idol since a little girl and I’m 38 now. It was so hot last night in Charlotte and I felt like I wanted to pass out while waiting in line but I was like nahhh I gotta see J. That was my first Janet concert hell my first major concert and it was An amazing experience I will tell my grandkids one day. If Janet is touring next year or in two years I will bring my oldest son who is nine now. Our kids are the future and they need to appreciate the greats and the icons as an adult. I regretted not seeing Michael or Prince. I made sure to see Ms. Jackson

I saw Janet last year in Allentown and then saw madonna in Philly and front row in Pittsburgh, getting ready to see janet again 5th row in Philly. I really enjoyed both but Madonna blew me away. Therw was so much happening it was just an amazing production. Not to mention being that close to an icon was amazing!!! I died when you said Madonna showed her flaps.. because yes she def showed skin and didnt give a f and girl...i loved her even more for it. I am excited that janet changed up the show from last years tour ( though i am really sad about the rhythm nation outfit change cause i loved last years way more) but am really excited about seeing her so close this time round. I love them both.

Ok so I saw them both all within a year, but let's put this into perspective. The last time they were touring within a year of another was like in the early 90s for the Rhythm Nation World Tour and Blonde Ambition Tour eras or something, and then again in the early 2000s for the All For You and Drowned World Tour eras, and then again for Rock Witchu Tour/Sticky & Sweet... I was too young then to comprehend shit. But anyways, how grateful we need to be to recognize that these two pioneer women are still doin their thang like 20, 30 years after the fact, in the 2020s era now... um like hello, how many more tours can we expect from them is unknown really. Janet's opener this time around for Together Again 2.0 was the bomb. I mean 'Night', '2Nite', 'Slolove', and 'Rock With U' as openers??? I passed out. I thought these gems would never see the day of light.

I saw Beyonce Madonna and Janet in LA . It was great seeing the ladies bring it and they did. They each have their own style . I had a great time. I saw Beyonce on her Birthday and a bonus of seeing Diana Ross. Amazing.

I saw Janet a few years ago and I was appalled at the horrific sound. Everything was muddled and all i could think was how Madonna would never take the stage without precision sound engineering. I have seen Madonna live 7 times and she never disappoints. I SAID WHAT I SAID 😂

List Janet is my girl. The Empress/Queen or whatever you want to call her of Pop. I really like Madonna as well, but let's be very clear Madonna needs all those backup dancers and sets to make up for the performance, because she does not hold a torch to Janet. Baby Janet 58 and moving like she is 28 and she don't need all those dancers for distraction. Janet moves in sync with her dancers and keeps up with them. Both women are the Blueprint for Pop music and alllll these new girls could learn a thing or two. Oh also "Night" is one of my favorite songs by Janet. Baby when I say that song is the song you listen too right before going out to the club. Simply classic. Love your review.

Let’s not forget that Madonna almost died before her tour was supposed to start and she barely had six months or so before she was back on stage. That woman is a machine and a medical miracle. The fact that she could do anything and tour across Europe and NA is awe inspiring and if she wasn’t moving as much, her live vocals were much better as a result. It’s not really fair to compare that to a woman several years younger in better health, which is why the OP kept it classy and didn’t do that. I really wish ‘fans’ didn’t feel the need to pit artists against each other. Not everything needs to be a competition. I’ve never really felt Janet held a candle to M, but I’ve also never felt the need to trash her on social media either.

Honestly! I just came to realize that Madonna loves all the theatrics is what I call it and that is really what makes her different and I love that for her. Like u feel like you’re watching a broadway show (to me anyway) Janet is a one woman show. She gives you the dance, the hits and a good time. It’s just all a different style of performing but both equally are amazing at what they do. 😍😍 I used to want M to stop using the dancers and etc but actually I love her doing that! And I used to wish Janet did the theatrics but now I just accept that Janet is really out here having a good time and you can feel that when you’re there.
