I like how when the imaginary friend appears the patient just starts twitching and going insane

The Patient was actually the first origin I played as and holy shit he was fun, after getting that second Corpus Block, you can just get yourself hurt on stages that refill your corpus when you beat a wave and have you and your imaginary friend take on the ENTIRE world lol

That sounds amazing! Sadly, I pretty much only play on Tough difficulty and health doesn't regenerate at all on that difficulty unless you find a medicine cabinet.

@@user-25352 I have no idea what determines its spawn rate. It only ever shows up when you lose a corpus, but I think it's a percent chance for each one you lose. After losing one, there's a small chance of them showing up each time until your last corpus where they always spawn... maybe. I only ever saw my imaginary friend like 4 or 5 times through a whole playthrough so I can't say for sure.

So for anyone wondering, it pretty much appears when your near death and sometimes after you lose a corpus block. Idk the rates tho.

The problem with being good at the game is that you don't get to see your friend very often :( But one of the few times I did was awesome: final wave of Hard Sell, one enemy remaining. Frien poofs in, says "can I play too?" and then just *DECKS* the Officer, finishing the wave *and* the mission in ONE PUNCH!

He doesn't show up often, but I swear the imaginary friend is like 10 times stronger than the average hireling. If I could have just him from the start, I feel like he'd be able to do about as much as an entire team of hirelings.

You should see him now, they give him a random weapon with infinite ammo and he just goes nuts and starts gunning everyone down, it's like he has the infinite ammo powerup but permanently, he literally breaks the audio with how fast he uses his double barrel shotgun. I think they give him either the long M1911 or the Double-Barrel shotgun tho, it'd be funnier if he literally had a random weapon but I can imagine why that'd be broken in some cases.

honestly though besides yourself when playing solo the imaginary friend is the most dependable ally you can have. I'm going through the arena on my first patient playthrough and I'm laughing the whole fuckin time alongside my character. there's just something about arena that makes you laugh like a maniac the whole time, at least on the first playthrough

As someone who played the Patient origin. I can confirm this what my experience felt like- had fun feeling like a stand user lmao

I don’t know why….but as soon as the muda muda muda came along with the long muuuuudaaaa with the gun….I started to laugh.

now that i think about it , patient straight up has a stand we can't see and we don't even realize

As someone doing a Patient playthrough, I'm still unsure of how to actually properly build him. Kinda dumped a lot of points into Strength and a part of me is worried I might have screwed myself as far as encumbrance goes.

Truly a bizarre episode then the usual madness, your touch with the sfx is spot on! My favorite part was the 7 page Muda on the mag

Fickle Friends is a pain of a level. Best I can offer is bring a machine gun with lots of ammo to eat at their tac bars, or bring really good slashing melee weapons to try and take their heads. Other than that, grab the torches and stakes that the vampire hunters drop. Fire keeps the vampires from respawning and the wooden stakes are an instant kill.

Laser weaponry is also good, Laser Pistolettes, Carbine & Laser Rifle/Heavy Laser Rifle, since they also do fire damage. Oh and btw, you don't need to be a Tinkerer to be able to change like Pistolettes or Carbine's default ammo to Laser Rifles, meaning you'd get duel Wieldable Pistolettes with 35 Ammo, same goes for Carbines too.

I kinda wish i said this earlier but i was kinda late, if you’re interesting i got a challenge for you, your not allowed to train your skills and your not allowed to buy anything, and i mean NOT ALLOWED TO BUY ANYTHING, which means, you don’t have armor, you have 1 corpus, you have no tac bar, no hirelings, you only have the armor on you, the weapons you have, and the weapons the grunts give upon death, play if you dare

We love the vids Keep them up, I thought I might ask you what I should do for my first imprint, I like the look of experiment but hear the disquieted one and the offering are better choices, I really wanna try massive more than anything

The starter classes are a bit basic compared to the unlockable ones, but it's up to you what you want to play. Disquieted is the best melee character in the game and the Offering's abilities are really fun too. You'll have to get an imprint before you unlock them though, so I would recommend just starting with Noob so you aren't limited to one play style. All I ask is you don't play Agent, out of all the origins, he's easily the weakest.

@@roiwiez the mod making is gonna take a long while cause Krinks and Swain are putting translations into the game so yeah it is gonna be a long while But, Darksignal and his other mate (the guy who made N51 and I mean THE Darksignal) are reworking the game by scratch cause they have a spin-off mod for Project Nexus and the story is for factions only like N51, Nexus Core and more. You can find the mod concept dossier in Darksignal's newgrounds news post. You have to see it there is a lot of shits in that dossier. Edit: I forgot to ask this. There is one mod for it way back then when the game was still in development. It's called NEM (Not Enough Madness) try it. I don't know how to play the mod. Maybe you could try it if you're willing to. Also, I forgot to ask this again. The spin-off mod that Darksignal is making. There are fanmade factions from the Madness Combat community like Jsoull's AAMO (Agency Against Malevolent Originals. Its like a mix of AAHW and Nexus Core but their targets are Madness OCs. And their forces are like a small army) and ShootdaCheese's NEWTAB (They are additional support troops for the Nexus Core). Yeah, that is basically it. If you want to see more concepts for Darksignal's mod. See Jsoull's EP3 livestream. If I'm missing some things ask the Madness Community. I can't ask for more cause I refuse to use a website like Discord. That'll be all thank you.

It took me 4 attempts to beat Nexus Core on Madness with a completely maxed out character and party. Buy all the best weapons and guns that you can and make sure everyone is swapped out with fresh gear between each wave. Other than that, it's just luck. As for general arena mode tips, Invest in hireling insurance so you don't have to overpay to bring back your hirelings every time they die, and consider spending some time grinding on early levels. Load up sleepwalker on Madness difficulty and try to focus on specific skills you want to level up. In later levels, you can get 1000 xp for only killing like 19 really easy enemies, making it really easy to farm acrobatics xp by just using throwing knives or unarmed by just punching everyone.

First time i played, i picked Experiment then Patient because i don't like my weapon breaking. Lawnmower is fun, but when i unlocked Stunning Fist on Patient, holy shit he just totally obliterates any poor souls with his takedowns except big enemy like half mag or Go3lm. My only issues is Experiment unarmed dmg boost should be on patient, since he specializes in that, would be more useful. Also, how important Tactic stat is? soon i want to use origin like Disquieted or Tinkerer and i torn between Dex and Tac (It's on like 10-15 on my current origin)

I'm not a complete expert in what the stats do, but Tactics increases your tac bar, making it easier to ignore gunfire and break out of stunlocks. It's pretty important for melee heavy builds so you aren't constantly getting picked away at by gunmen from afar.

I'm mostly self taught when it comes to editing. Just get yourself a video editor (I'm using the free version of DaVinci Resolve) and start practicing. KZread tutorials exist everywhere and there's plenty to learn by hitting random buttons. I don't even know what half of the things on my editor do, it's mostly just push buttons and move sliders until you figure out how it works and what you can use it for.

@@CuppaJoe313 I used to just hit record while I play, but to conserve space and make sorting through footage easier, I only record the final few waves before I complete a level, or a set of waves when I'm grinding.

The Agent's upside is arguably worse, though at least that one reliably works. The imaginary friend barely ever shows up when you need them.
