It's actually my first time hearing the song and I thought Regine's delivery and storytelling is so captivating! Her interpretation evoked the emotion that she/ the song intended. Her belting was so full of emotion, almost felt like someone wailing in pain (and, damn, you don't know what that feels like unless you've been there! And she executed it to a T!). Morissette's 2nd verse solo was flawless and their harmonies, breathtaking. I know the song title is "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" but I was at the edge of my seat, holding onto my seat tightly and couldn't let go bec the performance was so riveting!

that belt at the end was mind blowing!

Regine owned the first half of the song. Granted her vocals are “not as reliable” as it used to be, you can hear the tension in the high notes but, she still delivered. Morissette was so open in the last half of the song, so much more open than her live band version and she sounded amazing. Morisette and a ton of other singers benefitted from the smorgasbord of talents they could study and emulate and one of those talents is Regine herself.

Yeah this is the difference with Katrina and other high belting artists here in Philippines- they just throw the notes- But This Regine and Morisette know how to modulate their tongues and throats to release the notes from their vocals- Incredibly.!

Before that perf with Mori, Regine already sang a bunch of songs from prior segments of this ASAP episode. Try to react to her perf with top 6 Idol hopefuls, you can really say One Vs. All with how clear and powerful Regine's vocals are. I'm not really sure how she got that stamina to continue belting song after song 💚

Your interpretation of this duet by Mori and Regine is very unique, and it’s just a delight watching both of you. I especially like when you see how both voices are suffering pain yet one voice (Regine) almost hides the pain whereas the other voice (Mori) is not hiding it, as if she’s portraying some anger or frustration. If I may add, I think the two voices reflect the difference between the two generational expressions of feelings. Thank you for the superb reaction.

I love Morissette's distinct belts it's such an ear candy. There's a lot of Filipino belters out there but you'll never hear a belter like Morissette. The vocal modulation, the roundness, the warm tone, and the resonance is always there when she's belting. And her diction is superb even she's singing in Tagalog. She has the best diction after Lea Salonga
