The connection with the Komova and Chow skills was great. She's so smooth and light on the bars. Most Americans seem to fight the bars more than glide between them.

I think it’s because she actually isn’t American. She is of Romanian descent, as you can tell from her surname. She just has beautiful European lines and grace.

Mostly because she spent a lot of time injured. Even with her ankles she was a surprisingly good AA gymnast. Would have liked to see what she could have done as an AAer without the injuries.

I love that all her cast handstands are done with legs together. It's so much cleaner looking and really adds to the smooth style of the routine.

She is just so pleasant to watch and seems like a v nice person

@@lilyrosa5248 UCLA is the abbreviation for University of California Los Angeles. I know all about Madison Kocian. I am glad she did not take endorsement money as an Elite gymnast, and now has a scolarship to compete in collegite gymnastics.

It’s amazing how talented she is to be competing routines at age 13 that 21 year old American gymnasts do

her ray always left her with a dead hang and the next handstand was always short because of it. glad she took it out. her bars are technically beautiful!

agreed, excellent vid, thanks for making it and posting.

2013 is her best looking routine. Really clean lines, flow, and handstands. When she started adding shallow Inbars and the boring Shaposh + Pak at the start of the routine it got less pleasing.

she kept adding and upgrading to her routine, she really didn't need to, except maybe for you guys, and for an ego boost. but a full in off bars is quite difficult and she did it well. have any of the above commenters even tried a single salto flyaway off bars lol???

In 2010 nationals she had just turned 13 but 2011 Jeselo was held early in the year so she would turn 14 later that year.

I feel like she always flexes her feet during her straddled jaeger - nonetheless a great gymnast

I just realized that her hair went through a soft transition from brunette to blonde, so gorgeous, just like her uneven bars routine.
