Raga and its Effects
1. Raga Pooriya Dhansari (Hamsanandi-Kamavardini ) - evokes sweet, deep, heavy, cloudy and stable state of mind and prevents acidity..
2. Raga Bageshri - arouses a feeling of darkness, stability, depths and calmness. This raga is also used in treatment of diabetes and hypertension.
3. Raga Darbari (Darbari Kanada) - is considered very effective in easing tension. It is a late night raga composed by Tansen for Akbar to relieve his tension after hectic schedule of the daily court life.
4. Raga Todi - give treamendous relief to patients of high blood pressure.
5. Raga Ahir-Bhairav (Chakravakam) - is supposed to sustain chords which automatically brings down blood pressure.
6. Raga Malkauns - helps to cure low blood pressure.
7. Raga Bhairavi - Provides relief T.B, Cancer, Severe Cold, Phlegm, Sinus, toothache .
8. Raga Malhar - Useful in the treatment of asthma and sunstroke.
9. Raga Todi- Provides relief from cold and headache.
10. Raga Hindol & Marava - These ragas are useful in blood purification.
Madhyamavati
Clears paralysis, giddiness, pain in legs/hands, etc. and nervous complaints
While words have their intellectual appeal, instrumental music can sometimes create an openness that language cannot. Among the many instrumental pieces Sounds of Isha has created to manifest different ambiences, Madhyamavathi is one of the more beautiful ones. The name reflects the raga on which the song is based.
We have also had the fortune of some part-time volunteers, who have contributed to our music. We could use this opportunity to say how Sounds of Isha is not just some small group of people in the ashram but consists of so many meditators all over India and the world, all contributing to the music and connected with the common bond of Sadhguru's Grace.
The flute melody for this piece was composed by one of our meditators. He wanted to offer it to sadhguru and as we worked with it to create a song, we had the fortune of roping in a few more contributors from amongst our volunteers. The result is what you hear.
We had no particular plan as to what ambience to manifest through this song. However, from our experience, we find that it can be soulful, meditative or relaxing-soothing and settling.

@@supercker yes I was seeing the dead too. And I was afraid so much. Sadhguru would heal me in dreams and his presence was so soothing. He would heal me with colours and methods to cure the immediate fears. Trust me what I am telling is so deep and trust in him only can show what it means

This flute makes my daughter sleep at night peacefully. When I close my eyes I get an instant smile on my face thinking how beautiful the universe is and how blessed we are. Why worry about small things when the universe is so massive and there are much bigger things to think of or worry about. Live your life to the fullest

I am having eczema between foot & calf.After listening to Madhyamavathi,I am getting much pain relief.
The best part about Sadhguru is that he talks about things in general. I have visited ISHA foundation. It is amazing experience

Only other peoples from outside the country identified the peoples who lived in between Himalaya and indu Sagara(now Indian Ocean) as Indians. We never identified our selves with nothing.
