I am from Vietnam but now living in Europe. Pagodas are not popular here so I decide to practise mediation at home and learn Buddhist lessons from Internet and books. I love this song much. I try to learn this song and sing it according the melody every time I listen but it's quite fast. Need some time more. Namo Buddhaya

I was lucky to see Bodhi Tree at Bodh Gaya where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. You can really feel a strong energy of prayers, chant and Mantras. I did not meditate but I sat under the tree and it gave me goosebumps. Now I am in Australia but whenever I think of that moment of being under the Bodi Tree I still get chills. Thank you Lord Buddha for your teachings and compassion to this world. Namo Budhaya 🙏🏼

Hello love, you know all hindu gods are cursed including Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva! Read the hindu texts, not one god is left uncursed. Buddha came and saved those cursed gods and they are all Buddhist and come from Arya Avalokiteshvar!!! You can speak to TRUE Vishnu only after you take refuge in Lord Buddha with all your heart!❤️ All gods took refuge from destructive hindu false yogis in Buddha.

I listened to this Mantra after going through a breakup from a long-term relationship. Now, listening to his after two months, I have tears in my eyes. I think it reminded me of everything I went through. I used to listen to this every day after the breakup, and it was the most relaxing thing ever.

What is this Mantra do with Buddha birth place. And who said Buddha wasn't Bron in Nepal? This is not a important where he was born, important is his teaching. His teaching is very useful for today's world that's why people appreciate his teaching a lot, not his birth place. I do agree he was born in Nepal but he is Indian not Nepali.

Chan Master Sheng Yen said that this is the mantra from the Thousand eyes thousand arms Great compassion Avalokiteshvara sutra. It's talking about the names of Avalokiteshvara (GuanYin) Bodhisattva and her merits, Before you chant Da Bei Zhou, you have to arise your great compassion (the wish to wish or safe all sentient beings from sufferings) towards all sentient beings. You've to have faith in this mantra. If you chant this mantra, recite continuously all your sins, karma will be purified. Your wishes will be fulfilled. If you wish to be a Buddha, you can be a Buddha. From the most basic vows or wishes to the ultimate Bodhi, enlightenment will be fulfilled. This mantra is very powerful. You don't have to understand the meaning but just the sound and chant it will be effective.

In India, even though majority are hindu, buddhism has deep meaning and association with almost every hindu where Buddha is considered an avatara of Vishnu. A truly enlightened man in his lifetime, the Buddha's manifestation as Avalokiteshwara, is said to contain the consolidated compassion of all the boddhisatvas of all time. No wonder this chant/mantra brings such peace to listeners.
