I'm a 18 year old who was 10 months when Madeline Kahn died but I love old tv and movies and I learned of her and fell in love with her personality by watching youtube videos,Cosby(1996-2000 CBS Show),Clue(1985),and Mixed Nuts(1994).Madeline Kahn was truly a great actress and person.May She rest in peace in Heaven.Madeline Kahn 1942-1999.A comedy,screenplay and movie legand in my opinion.

Globe 101: I was the same as you when I was a child, loved the old movies, the older the better, at 62 years old, still enjoy the older stuff. Some of my family members young children don't know what we are talking about when we mention old movies, songs, etc. Good job Globe 101 :)

@@Daniel-yo5es Yes, by today's "standards" I could be considered an old fart. But what my age induced comrades have in common is an easily defined recognition of true talent. Today, there maybe some reasonable talent, but most of it is highly specialize. Much of the talent of "yesteryear" was extremely well rounded. IOW, they could act, sing, dance, play an instrument (sometimes multiple), etc. and do so in most any genre, and all expertly. That's a rarity today, if it exists at all!
