A extremely funny actress and extremely beautiful. (I always try not to mention if a woman is beautiful or not. Because looks are so seldom mentioned when we write about males. But I couldn’t help myself this time. Maybe because she often tried to look a bit uglier than she was in so many of her roles. )

The acting in Paper Moon was just extraordinary. Great, and I mean great, acting as we see here. The director got the best out of incredibly talented people. For me, Paper Moon is one of the best movies full stop.

Madelein Kahn - such a talented Comedic actress! Rare beauty. Loved her in High Anxiety and Blazing Saddles. Lily Tomlin is another! Women both ahead of their time. Saw this age 14 or 15 in a drive-in with parents. Most of the humor over my head then. Clear as day now. Love it when Tatum starts to crack a smile.

Top 5 Fun Facts about Madeline Khan: 5. Madeline Kahn complained when Tatum O'Neal was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress in "Paper Moon" and ended up winning. She said "(Tatum)'s not the Best Supporting Actress; she's the Best Actress! I'm the Best Supporting Actress in that movie." It was thought at the time Tatum was nominated for Best Supporting Actress because non-adults were never nominated for the leading awards, but if that ever was once true, it no longer is. More recently, in 2012, Quvenzhané Wallis was nominated for Best Actress for Beasts of the Southern Wild at just under nine-and-a-half years old. 4. In the picnic scene, Madeline Kahn initially refused to say the line "Let Miss Trixie sit up front with her big t!ts," objecting to the vulgarity. Director Peter Bogdanovich convinced her to say the line for only one take. This take appears in the final film. Kahn's odd reaction of embarrassment after saying the line is genuine. 3. Madeline Kahn can be heard singing the old "Paper Moon" song from an old gramophone at the photo booth in the last few seconds of the carnival scene. 2. The band Drive-By Truckers pays homage to the film in their song "Birthday Boy" which contains the line, "Let Miss Trixie sit up front" which is a quote from Madeline Kahn. 1. As part of her costume, Madeline Kahn was given a "special bra" to appear buxom and bouncy for the role of Miss Trixie Delight, because the actress' bust size is a 38B (85B) in real life.
