Kajaani is my hometown which is located pretty much in the middle of Finland. My original plan was to shoot two separate timelapse projects this winter, a hyperlapse project and a Northern Lights project of Kajaani, shooting most of the time only at weekends when school wasn't bothering me. When I shot hyperlapse clips I traveled to different shooting places via bicycle, did some planning and then shot the clip. Sounds easy but when there were temperatures like -25 degrees cold at its worst, it were everything but pleasant. I ended up with so few clips that I deciced to combine the hyperlapse and few Northern Lights footage what I managed to get and make only one video. The final project ended up looking good and it surely was worth all those frostbites and nights spent shooting.

Tosi hieno video, Riku! Teknisesti taitava ja kuvanlaatukin on huippuluokkaa. Vielä kun sais dubstebin sijaan jotain ajattomampaa fiilistelymusaa tähän ;) No, ehkä se oon vaan minä joka näin ajattelee. Jatkahan upeeta työskentelyäs!

Kiitosta Juha! Oot kyllä oikeilla jälillä musiikkivalinnan suhteen, jälkeenpäin oon valaistunu vielä enemmän miten huonosti musiikki toimii, mutta minkäpä sille enää tekee. Jospa tulevaisuudessa menisi valinta vähän enemmän kohille! :)
