I missed seeing the left-hand facing fence (west? side) -- from your initial "pemiere" of your beautiful house; a match to THAT fence is THE best choice, you don't want too many "different" materials, and are keeping things consistent. I usually get the kind of "help" you get when trying to fix things as well -- Zzzzzzz...

Sherpa looks so happy with the yard. Gets plenty of naps.

The sign that reads... "Sherpa's Garden" needs to have another sign just below it, that reads... "Entrance Fee: 2 Chicken Balls"

The garden looks much better and safer for Sherpa. I love the sign! 💜

It's so nice to see how the new home is becoming more and more comfortable and beautiful. Sherpy and Dad are working their way to make all of this happen. Jamie is the more working part and Sherpy is the organizational part. 😆 That's why he has to take a power nap under the hedge every now and then. 😆 Sherp's look says yes, I'm at home here and I feel good.🥰 The fence is perfect so that Sherps can do this whenever he feels like being in the garden. Varathane wood stain…. From what I remember. But given frequent rain in that part if the world I’m sure any good wood place can advise. Or even that fence company might have ideas and connections.

The gate and fence was a necessity. Wonderful thinking Jamie! I’m more nervous about Key or Nook running out there than Sherpa, but you were a responsible homeowner and pet owner in making that change.

The new fence looks great and makes the garden more private for you and safer for Sherps. Try doubling up on the canes on the driveway gate. It probably just needs to be thicker.

I was thinking the same thing. Jaime could put another cane section on the other side of the driveway gate. When putting it up, Jaime could try and position the new canes between the canes on the other side, to fill in the gaps.

Nice fence - really fits in well with the rustic style of the house. What a wonderful space for a dog! Can’t wait to see Key come for a visit - he’ll be jealous!

There is something so peaceful and incredibly satisfying watching Sherpa sleep in the grass of his very own garden. I can imagine you must love watching him! And the fence really was a wonderful upgrade. I had wondered about that access. Now Nook and Key will be safer as well when they visit. Plumbing issues are my husband’s nemesis. He hates having to fix them, though he’s gotten pretty good.

Shepra is more relaxed in he's new home. He's so beautiful.❤

The gate thing is a GOOD idea. We did it for our excitable, human-friendly dog, too - who once crossed the road to say hello to a neighbor getting out of her car!

I need to. It's been far to long.

The house looks better every video. It looks so peaceful and calm definitely made the right decision with that house.

If you want to protect the toe kick under the cabinets from Sherpa's dreaming, you could put foam under there without any attaching it if its the same height as the toe kick. The thicker it is, the stronger it will be, but you'll loose toe space, so there is a sacrifice. It would be quieter too, though I'm sure you are used to his "dream sounds".

The fence is SO worth it to help keep Sherpa and friends safe. The new Sherpa sign is great.

The fence is perfect. Looks great and much less stress to know Sherpa is safe from the road! I love fences. 😂

Sherpa looks SO content in his garden. He's so much at home there (who wouldn't be). The fence looks great Jamie and best of all, Sherpa and friends are safe. In home ownership it's a learning experience. Today you learned a bit about pipes. Like being sure to put the rubber thingy on the right end of the pipey thingy. You'll know better next time Jamie 🤣

Sherpa needs a small tree to lay under, (how about a small fruit tree in the middle of the lawn)that’s why he goes way over to hedge to lay down.

For future reference, unfasten the pipe piece which needs a replacement and take it with you to the store. Youll know if its the right piece on the spot instead of having to go back and forth.
