They always will, got to love throwing an in breaking route and the corner is has your receiver beat by 5 yards

all it took was the NCAA team to finally give Madden some inside competition. I'll take it. although with EA, we have to see how they actually execute on all the stuff they sell.

It's not competition when the same company is making the same thing on the same engine. I mean not really, healthy competition would come from outside EA sports which is impossible since they have a monopoly on simulation football even though they don't have a single simulation football game on the market. Calling Madden simulation is a joke ended If the college football game is using the same engine, which we know it is, it's really not fair to call that simulation either.

College football 25 has been more intrigued than Madden does. Just from what has come out about college football has me more intrigued than a few simple updates from Madden no matter how good it is. Create a team is great but that’s not gonna fix a lot of the underlying problems that Madden has especially in franchise. I like creating realism too, I love the feeling of an authentic presentation, to where it feels like I’m watching a football game, where there’s strategy in franchise modes, the feeling of building a team to glory, and it’s very difficult to do that with a lot of the key elements in madden missing. I don’t expect college football 25 to be perfect by any means but just from what has come out about it, I’m more interested in that than I am madden. The systems put in place in college football 25 looks like it could be more fun, engaging experience than what Madden has to offer right now.

At least getting SOME of what the community has asked for is a win: new commentary (thank god), custom teams, super bowl/draft changes are automatically great. HOWEVER, the gameplay will determine if I buy the game. Im interested to see if the physics are all just marketing speak or if its obvious they actually put in two years of effort

College

Team and rookie records is about all that truly interested me out of the franchise revamp. It would be too much to ask for a full statistics overhaul and sim engine overhaul, though.

Create a team is something I’m excited about. Also hope we can see some more college dynasty to madden franchise players like Boogie Turner and Jamari Akenjide

My Wishlist: -Tracking QB Pressures for Defensive Players and tracking Pressures Allowed for Offensive Linemen -Tracking more Offensive Linemen stats and allowing good stats (including team rushing yards) to allow offensive linemen to gain XP faster -Fixing Offensive Linemen historic career stats (they always seem to be missing years and stats and this is an issue as far back as Madden 18) -Improving CPU logic when considering the position of edge rushers to ensure they become OLBs in a 3-4 and DE’s in a 4-3 (otherwise I have to manually change their position) -Improving position logic to ensure an 80 overall LE doesn’t get stuck behind an 87 overall LE when the RE is 75 and not a day one starter -Adding more substitution logic to allow CPU to have positional rotations (DL rotations, WR rotations, RB by committee) -Adding dynamic playbooks meaning teams will change play style depending on offensive and defensive personnel (if the Raven lose Lamar Jackson and replace him with a pocket passer, the CPU needs to change the playbook, or change the plays in the playbook to adjust) -Re-calibrating how progressive fatigue works to make it more realistic and ensure AI are given the tools to manage it (not lose all their starters at the end of the year) -A wider variety of injuries with sensible timelines (players spending 3 weeks out with a torn labrum is not how it works in the real world) -More long-term and season ending injuries as well as more minor injuries which reflect the way the NFL actually is (most teams wind up with 2-4 key starters on IR with long-term injuries) -A well calibrated wear and tear feature which is similar to the one proposed in NCAA and CPU logic built in to allow CPU teams to manage players accordingly

I need to know a few things 1. As you said for draft and FA logic... will the CPU PLEASE stop taking players I want when they do not need them just so I can't get them? 2. Are offensive lineman actually going to block? For perspective... Darrisaw has given up 6 sacks in 3 years as the Vikings LT... in Madden... he will give that up in 3 games because DE are overpowered 3. Are my corners going to actually cover recievers? You know, instead of QB's like Daniel Jones completing 37 straight passes against me or a 66 overall rookie normal development QB completing 90% of his passes against me. 4. This ties in to 2 and 3. Are stats going to be realistic? Again, for perspective the 2022 Vikings gave up 24.8 points per game. 28th in the league. In Madden, that somehow makes you a top 6-7 defense. Or giving up just under 300 passing yards makes you a top 5 pass defense when the number 1 pass defense IRL gives up about 175 per game. Average team punts 4-5 times a game. You'll be lucky if you see 4-5 punts BETWEEN both teams. Again, Madden says it's realistic, but in reality, it's not even close. I know it's not perfect, but you can not claim to be realistic if your game doesn't have realistic things.

I would like to see Super Bowl and conference championship banners or years displays in the stadium or even a ceremony at the start of a new season.

I find it hilariously EA that they haven't even mentioned the existence of the anniversay version of Madden 25 lol just completely glancing over it and not addressing the elephant in the room in the slghtest.

@@MrHurriicaneMaybe they should have called it Madden 2025 or Madden 2025: 35th anniversary.

Feel like they should make a new tag called “potential franchise QB” for teams who drafted an early round QB. Then unless they can somehow sign a high end QB, they’re really not going to go for QBs. Then based on team record and stats this could evolve into “franchise QB” tag or “failed franchise QB”. Feel it’s not that hard to implement and would greatly help improve AI logic. Players with the “failed” tag would have interest from other teams to maybe take a shot on them for a lower price in trades or free agency. Then there can be story headlines in the offseason like “Report: 49ers do not believe Trey Lance is their answer at QB”. Feel like they can easily do this and it would add a lot.

Madden has themselves to blame with people being so pessimistic about the game. Some of these changes are nice( I assume) but they are moving at a snail’s pace with their improvements. Adding Team Records should not be a significant feature in the year of our lord 2024. Objectively speaking the game has gotten much better over the last couple years but the game is still full priced at 60 dollars when older games had more features and was a much better experience

m25 beta is mid physics are slightly better, still cant fit the ball into most windows, etc. hopefully it’s just bc it’s the beta but i almost preordered the mvp edition, & I am glad i didn’t

I know the first thing I’m doing is bringing back the Washington Redskins with the current coaching staff and player roster.

It’s literally the same game with a bunch of presentation changes. Playing the beta made me realize there are no gameplay changes so I think I’ll pass this year

Yeah it's deeply frustrating watching creators try to hype up this game every year. I know they kind of rely on it to keep their channels healthy but it's just absurd. Especially if you care about franchise, offline single player The game is a disaster.

God it's so tiring the same year watching people claim the gameplay is finally fixed when it's unfixable until they actually use an engine that's purpose-built for football or sports game.

Cane I know you get upset that teams will draft a quality player even tho they have established guys but teams do that all the time. The ravens drafted Kyle Hamilton even tho they had a top 5 safety room already. The Steelers always drafting a receiver in the 2nd or 3rd when they have a decent room as well Or Philly just loading up on DLine If a team has that player on that board high then they just take him aka best player available

It annoys me because in my franchise the Cardinals signed/resigned 3 MLB to big contracts and still proceeded to take the MLB I wanted/needed and how convenient they picked right before me. He never played a down for them and was the 5th LB on their depth chart. The logic is so bad sometimes. I get they want you to trade up and move around like a real NFL team but do that for the whole game. I'd have been less upset if a team traded up ahead of me that NEEDED a MLB and took him. That's realistic. A team taking a player they don't need so it looks like the scenario that I described it should be just isn't it.

I would really love if team builder let us expand the league and reorganize the divisions. Unfortunately we'll probably have to replace an existing NFL team. But I'll take it.

I'm not a fan of superstar mode. You can't be a d lineman, and you start out as an x factor, which is the most EA thing ever. Because of course, EA doesn't realize building your created player up is the main idea behind creating a player

I mean it just sounds like more of the same from madden. I hope superstar at least reaches the RTTS in MLB level of quality. Thatd be at least an improvement. Superstar always just feels like franchise with your created player on the roster. Im definitely a dynasty over franchise person. The level of freshness with the quick turn over. If you are challenging yourself right 1 or 2 bad seasons can destroy your whole game lol I dont have time for a madden franchise if dynasty and Road to Glory are on point. My Show franchise is year around because holy baseball batman it takes some time. Lol

In all honest, why even release an old gen edition? I know the obvious answer is money but like come on, they literally aren’t making any changes that will affect old gen. They really expect people on old gen to buy the new game just for roster changes? Just release an update to 24 with new rosters

The Madden 25 demo is not eye popping. Actually Madden 24 is better.. The playbook art looks horrible The players freeze on plays, especially kickoff while ball is in the air.. Wild

I just need it to run smoothly on pc. Madden 24 was so buggy and glitchy and poorly optimized I couldn't even play it

Especially since we know it's the same engine and 90% of the same animations and that they have released the same terrible game every year going back probably eight or nine years now. since they've switched to this engine. The idea that somehow EA and it's literal billion dollar forced Monopoly on simulation football is a victim of unjustifiable criticism is one of the most comical things I've ever heard.
