I don’t get it- the villain had a vision that he was going to die because of the three girls but the girls were never coming anywhere near him. He was actively hunting them down instead. So if he wants to live stop approaching them and go about your life.

New Rockstars broke down how much of a mess this movie was and the change in dialogue with bad ADR. Some of it is so noticable.

The problem is they tried to make an action movie out of a power that is geared more towards planning and manipulation. The is a perfectly fine Madam Webb movie here that could have been a drama, mystery or thriller that they chose not to do.

Yeah I believe the original plot was Ezekiel trying to kill baby Peter. So I assume it was gonna be Madame Web figuring out the plot bc of premonitions and maybe assembling the three Spider-Women to fight him

Tbh just a guess but I think the original plot was evil spider person was trying to kill baby Peter Parker. At some point behind the scenes Sony wasn’t allowed to use Peter Parker name or character so they had to cut and stitch this all up

As I sat in the theater, and the movie neared its end, the fireworks began firing during the final fight. When madame Webb split into 4, I was engulfed in chills. THIS IS CINEMA. Nothing but greatness, especially in the dialogue. 20/10

I'm glad you guys mentioned the taxi thing. I was thinking about that the whole time when I saw it in theaters. Wouldn't the cab company have reported it stolen and wouldn't the cops have been able to track it down, especially when Cassandra's driving through the city itself or when she goes back to the diner after the incident there? She even keeps driving it when she gets back from Peru lol. Speaking of the diner, that song Toxic by Britney Spears was playing when the girls are dancing on the table. The movie takes place in 2003, but that song didn't come out until a year later. You'd think it'd be an easy thing for the producers to know. The setting was pointless anyway. There was no good reason for this movie to be set in 2003 if it wasn't gonna connect to anything. Hardly anything about this film made sense. By the way, as bad as it is, nothing could be worse than Morbuis. This movie is at least watchable, that one isn't.

“Why didn’t she just wait?” Best part of the movie by far

I saw this movie with my friend group in the theater (I basically dragged them to it lol but in all seriousness they were looking forward to how bad it was gonna be) and we started laughing hysterically in the first like five minutes. It wasnt a full theater, some people were there and they got pissed off at us. So for the remaining hour and a half we had to really reign in our laughter. Some of my friends were straight up suffering trying to stifle their laughter like tea kettles about to burst lol

OK now all seriousness here is my take in my opinion on Sony and superhero movies right now and I’ve had this for quite a while but you, Greg and the gang and this movie proves the point I am about to make. Sony cannot make origin movies the characters need to pre-exist, and then everything else around them tells the story they just plain suck at origins stories. I have not seen one date that they have done that works. They just have to abandon that whole idea altogether just the characters exist and something happens and they pop in that’s it I had nothing, nothing else seems to work even the good ones were like eh to me. Yep Yep no more origin movies.
