Madame Tussauds has put together a slick mix of entertainment to cater for all tastes and keep you thoroughly enthralled. There are realistic celebrity wax figures for you to pose with. Enjoy a pretty decent 4D Marvel Super Heroes movie and sit back and take a black cab ride on a tour through the history and culture of London . There is a small display showing some of the history and behind the scenes elements of Madame Tussauds. Finally, there is “Scream” which is basically a walk-through ghost train style experience, where real-life actors add to the creepy atmosphere and thrills.
The celebrity waxwork figures are divided into ten different areas: party, bollywood, film, sport, royalty, culture, music, world leaders, chamber of horrors and marvel super heroes, although some of the sections merge seamlessly together. Party is filled with A-list celebrities, Depp, Clooney, Beckham and definitely has that red carpet atmosphere and at busy times this feels like you are at a movie premiere as you flow among the crowds. A section of this area is devoted to the stars of Bollywood including Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Raj. Next you will have your opportunity to have your photo taken with the boys of One Direction or carry on to see the stars of the silver screen past and present like Marilyn Monroe, Arnold Schwarzenegger or even the late Robin Williams. Onto the world of sport and as this is London the focus is heavily on the athletes of the 2012 Olympics including Usain Bolt and Jessica Ennis. Here is your chance to rub shoulders with royalty past and present, before taking a brief stroll through culture before immersing yourself in the world of music. All your favourite stars are here including the Beatles, Michael Jackson and Beyonce. Then you have the chance to give the world leaders a piece of your mind and I promise they won’t answer you back. If you dare, take a stroll through the Chamber of Horrors, although this is really only an atmospheric prelude to “Scream”. The fantastic Super Heroes are crammed into the waiting area as you queue to see the 4D movie and probably overall deserved a slightly larger area .
My film takes you on a tour around the various zones. Celebrity waxworks will probably vary from time to time, so the figures you see in the film may or may not all be on display when you visit. Some of the figures are really stunning and even probably look better than the real thing. But some of the figures didn’t capture the essence of the personalities, I was disappointed with the figures of Audrey Hepburn and Dianna. What do you think?
On arrival there are at least 4 different queues, depending on what type of ticket you purchased, so make sure you join the correct one. The queues move fairly fast although they may seem long.
Money Saving Tip:
If you travel by train look for the 2 for 1 entry deals that the rail companies run from time to time, but you will need to print out a voucher before you leave home. Also Tesco supermarket clubcard
Vouchers can be used to exchange for tickets again do this online before you visit.
Food and Toilet Facilities
There are some food stalls and toilets dotted throughout the venue. Food stalls were in the “party” area and in the Super-Heroes hall. Don’t wait to use the toilet down stairs in the “shop” as these were very small and tended to get crowded.
If it has all been too much for you sit down and relax in the coffee shop after the gift shop.

Personally,I'm waiting for the moment when the 1D wax figures are replaced with the real deal so when somebody comes and poses for a pic then they surprise them and be like"Surprise!" That would be an epic reunion

+Lucia Willow Hi Lucia, You are absolutely right. The film was intended as a start to finish tour and Richard Branson was the last figure in the Tussauds gift shop, but perhaps I should have stuck to the themes. I visited Tussauds again this Summer so will post an update video soon, let me know what you think. By the way Branson had gone replaced by Jerry Springer! Thanks.

Hi, the figures are: Bobby Moore (3:39) was the England Football Team World Cup Winning Captain 1966; David Beckham (3:51) England, Man Utd etc football icon; Jose Mourinho (3:52) football manager across europe, currently Man Utd and Henry V (4:23) King of England 1413 - 1422, great successes during 100 Year War with France included Agincourt. Hope that helps. Spot the odd one out.

+DrSommer19 In order the figures are probably Brian Lara (West Indian International Cricketer), Jesse Owens (US Olympic track and field athlete) and Mo Farah CBE (British distance runner mainly 5,000 and 10,000 metres). Hope that answers your question.

They cant be alll made by the same person/s as some are spot on life like and others are NOT the russell brand one is exceptional the michael jackson one is a failure isnt even close

I think some look better than others, but thest ones are as good as they are because of newer technology, things such as 3D scanning, better molding techniques and materials, very skilled artists etc have improved the way they are made. Some are even molded and sculpted direct from the stars themselves.

Sometimes celebs don’t show up for their measurements. So they only have pictures to go off on, sadly you can notice that sometimes.
