Whitney Houston Madame Tussauds Las Vegas Wax Figure Unveiling 2-11-13

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled a wax figure of singer, actress and producer Whitney Houston. Four different versions were made and distributed throughout the United States. They are located in Las Vegas, Washington D.C., New York and Hollywood.
The first single from Houston's second studio album was titled 'Wanna Dance
with Somebody (Who Loves Me)' and earned the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop
Vocal Performance at the 30th Grammy Awards in 1988. The song's accompanying
video became one of Houston's best recognized music videos and ran in heavy
rotation on MTV, VH1, and BET. At Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, Houston's wax
figure will be styled in the same way she appeared in the video, wearing a tight
purple-pink tank dress and blonde curly hair.
"We are excited for one of Whitney's four amazing figures to reside in our music
room here in Las Vegas alongside other music legends," remarked Madame Tussauds
Las Vegas General Manager Rosita Chapman.

Every one looks like her except the one from the How Will I Know video. That one looks creepy and not like her at all. The makeup makes her look scary.
this is amazing. so beautiful. they captured her at those stages in her life perfectly. they looked like her perfectly.
Who ever did the heads of Whitney really captured her soul, Some of the others I saw in other videos do not even look like the person its meant to look like!
These are beyond amazing! The I Wanna Dance With Somebody 1 looks a little different but those other three are so spot on its scary! I'm sure it would be difficult for loved ones to view them in person. She was a gorgeous woman.
Whitneys should've been done WAAAAY before BEYONCES WAS DONE.

She had the perfect symmetry and looks, from her face with that blinging smile and stunning facial features to her tall and majestic body posture. In her early days I have not yet seen anyone more beautiful, also 'the voice' she had, like how did she get all that at once?

This is what I don't understand...why not praised her when she was living? I love how they took the time to really make sure each figure looked just like her..and don't get me wrong it is amazing, but she is no longer here to see the out pour of love...it's just sad.

They should have re-created the pose from the music video 'I Will Always Love You' in the scene with a snow backdrop, where Whitney is sitting on a chair, in a pin stripe suit. This is the song Whitney is most famous for and a very pinnacle moment when she sings.

NiPPy3GA She was leaning forward with her elbows on her knees to conceal her baby bump (she was pregnant with Bobbie Christine), so no one would be able to sit on her lap🙂

These figures are the absolute best likeness ive ever seen on a wax figure. Most times you can tell who its supposed to be, but they never look EXACTLY like the person...but these look EXACTLY like her, like they took a snapsot of her...Amazing.

See how much work and time is put into these figures. Before they can create a celebrity figure, they have to get permission by the family and business company. A lot of channels before they can do this due to gaining the rights to all copyrighted elements.
