Malagasy ancestry mostly come from Borneo and Sumatra. the architecture very similar to Banjarese of South Kalimantan province called 'Bubungan Tinggi Banjar', the other similar architecture from Central Kalimantan province or Kalimantan Tengah 'Rumah Betang', Bajau architecture of Sabah/North Borneo Malaysia, 'Bajau architecture' and Malay architecture of East Sumatra Riau and Jambi province, Peninsular Malaysia, Brunei and West Kalimantan/Kalimantan Barat called 'Balai adat Melayu', Malagasy roof used 'wood shingle roof and Thatched roof from grass or palm' same with Malay, Banjar, Dayak, Bajau people, but Malay also used 'roof tiles made from baked clay', called 'Genting or genteng' ,the 'Open gable roof with cross-horned gable finial' are similarity in Malagasy and Indonesian people. Food are the same 'rice', the Bornean and Sumatran settler bring rice to the Madagascar. they bring culture, language and architecture. the Malagasy architecture becoming rare, and believe to be primitive, unlike in Indonesia and Malaysia they proud of their traditional house, palace and building.
