Every OG writer that usta watch daytime talk shows should know about GK, and if not thru that then the prison time he did for Graff, cause it made the news up north. He got popped b4 MSK moved to Frisco so most of us already knew of him, but didn't realize CHEVY was the new word. As for why people do graff, for me it was the comradire of crew life and seeing my name up. Ive been on drugs before but I dont think that was the underlying reason for tagging. The payout for me is my crew is still bombing and were all great friends. Peace

My friend VEER was supposed to babysit a drunk ZOSO but he let him wander off and ZOSO GKTFO by some dude (PITBULL?) @ Carl's in Westwood in maybe 1989. 5 yrs later I was at work and saw him and he just got beatup by some "Persian kids" so I let him use the restroom and gave him some ice. How old is EKLIPSE?, the only AWR guy I remember meeting is Lapse in College in maybe 1993ish, he was cool.

I remember how stoked I was to know other people were active there. Trip to see him linked up with LA dudes I met in Venice and who got me started writing to begin with. Fucking dumb but hearing these podcasts and other people’s stories make me feel a little less alien. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I probably got the years wrong. It was Ham, Woer, and someone else. Fumes, herb, etc, and old age blur it all. Toy shit and I blasted the yard with not good shit. I smashed on heavens in LA with stuff that sucked too but ran. Insert generic got jumped and popped wherever spots graffiti shit. I met almost everyone doing shit in LA going to the Venice walls every day before it all clicked like oh shit, this is what this is… Nobody cares, it never goes anywhere, almost 40 and still doing it. Happy for the people doing something with it and wish I could stop. Cool story bro
