This has been the most important music of my life. It lives in my soul. Mike's incredible guitars, Layne's howl, Barrett's thunder, and bakers warm bass tones. They have all touched me as a person and especially as a musician. Thank you so much for yourselves.

Layne, Mike, Barrett & Baker made timeless music with this album! Layne was reading about prophecies and it comes through on this music. Layne is gone BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN!!❤️🎶🎤🌹🎈

I still remember the time when I first heard Above in 1995 when I was 17. I was blown away. And I am to this day, though many years have passed. I still have the casette and treasure it. For me it's the most beautiful record of all times. I will always love it and hold it in a special place in my heart. I'm forever grateful that you created such masterpiece. Miss Layne and Baker 😢

Got chills watching this. ‘Wake Up’ for me is such a monster of a song. I think Layne deeply wanted to wake up. Thinking about my own life, using drugs since I was 15. Though sober now, I still haven’t moved forward since then. I live in the past and relive my traumas so much, that I’m never in the present. It’s like I’m not living at all. Just a ghost. I think I too, need to wake up.

I love this so much. I remember buying the CD when it came out in 95. I was 15-16 years old. One of those things that changes you and stays with you forever. Im a mega monster Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains fan.

I heard him say he learned to play guitar from Tom Morello. That sounds like lollapalooza 93 when the rage against the machine and Alice In Chains were on that seem to work. What a fun fun. Good music that was. Don’t get me wrong music is great music is music but lollapalooza was pretty amazing those first few years
