It's too bad that a stupid drug had to suck his soul to a pulp. I know because I went through it myself. Getting clean is far from the problem bro. That's easy to do. Going out there and having the money was the problem. So sad. R I p

I miss Layne everyday...AiC were the best band of the Grunge era, and the best band of the past near 30 years now...of course I know this is not AiC, but Mad Season, but it's Layne as well, and bittersweet to listen to, as he died too young, and alone, and deserved better...I wish he'd found help before it was too late. Rest in peace Layne - you'll never be forgotten.

Honestly I'd say it's a solid tie with Nirvana. Layne the best out of that era though I think.

Well said. I feel the same way. I listen to AIC or mad season every day. Miss Layne so much.
Because of a shitty back Im home and have the time to really enjoy all the uploads from Mad Season. And I can't say thx enough. Layne and John will never be forgotten.
Absolutely love seeing unseen footage of Layne just doing his thing. Love that shit man!...
Every time I see a new video with Layne I get excited then sad. Obviously excited to see something with Layne I have never seen before and of course sad because we don't get to be blessed with anymore new music from him. :(
Untouchable. Renegade Angel was Layne. Nobody before or After ever sounded like this.

True courage, it takes a brave man to pour your heart and soul out to a crowd full of strangers especially for a song this vulnerable.

Heavenly. The words fit my life to well for it to be an accident. Things will never be the same way again and it breaks my heart when I think about it.

@@giuseppemartino6889 people blame her for his addiction. But there is actually 0 evidence that Demri really indroduced him to heroin. And he already took drugs before they were in a relationship so 🤷♂️
So beautiful
What a special song it has made me cry in the past we are all so lucky to be able to listen to it ❤
Layne Staley ❤️ and Mad Season
I wonder if there are any vocals and bass tracks from Layne and Baker from the unfinished 2nd album. Imagine if something like that came out, after all this time. Would be as big as Nirvana's "you know you're right".

Planet Caravan vibe.
The last two parts of his singing here sound like a messup (singing the same notes twice in a row he typically varies them when singing this live).
