Mad Men - Visual Storytelling: The final shot of every episode
Фильм және анимация
A tribute to Mad Men to showcase the brilliant cinematography. It's not only gorgeous to look at, but it also is able to convey a lot of meaning and emotion just through pure visuals. This video mainly consist of the final shot of every episode in the series.
*A few aren't the actual final shots, like some are a few seconds before the camera pulls away or some are to me the ones that have the most meaning and are deliberately framed as a final shot.

It's all in the pauses. The close-ups. The glances. Why do we feel for these characters? It's because this show is not facile. We understand the depth of these characters, as if they were real people we could relate to. One doesn't watch this show ; he experiences it. Redefining drama for good.

Where will we get this full drama? Can we get this in KZread?
The way this show was shot was magical. Thank you for putting this together.
The best series of all time ever. You can feel life watching this series
The more you watch this show, the more you appreciate it. Absolutely stunning.
What I really enjoyed is the viewer is respected, screens with no words just a look. Outstanding performances and film making. This is the best series I have ever seen.
I don't know of this series will ever be topped. I won't be easy, to say the least.
Putting Mad Men to Max Richter is just genius
They way Mad Men works composition is just astonishing. The first time I saw it I was blow away of how many shots could easily be a painting you could have in your house. You can watch this series and learn A LOT of cinematography and "steal" something for your own work.
I got chills. I've always loved this music piece and this series is my absolute favorite. Thank you for compiling this wonderful work.
On the Nature of Daylight is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed. Amazing show, great vid.
Thanks. Pretty sure the last shot of "The Doorway, Part 1" is Don looking at the photographer after he tells him to "be himself" though. And the ending of "The Gold Violin" is Betty puking in Don's new car and him looking at her.
but seriously the cinematography for this shoe is incredible
Outstanding performances from America, highly respected
Happy Anniversary, Mad Men. We miss you.
I can see Weiner's influence from the Wong Kar Wai and Hitchcock!
This made me tear a little. What a show! Great video and music choice!
Oh my goodness, that was beautiful. The LIGHT in some of those shots is like an old master painting.
great video ...mad men ...darkest and beautiful show ever
Zero dislikes 👌👌 That’s the beauty of Mad Men for ya
Amazing video! The cinematography is so smooth and beautiful!
Beautiful...
This is sooooo amazing
Incredible.
I just realized they used the "closing door" cut in first three seasons very often. From season 4 on almost not at all.
Great job!
A true masterpiece
Amazing...
thank you.
Very moving...
This is Mad Art
Perfect video
Sally going into the doctor's office in S4 ep 5 just breaks my heart. I dont know what it is, but I want to reach through my television and hug her, and tell her (cue Don), its going to be ok. Darling Sally.
Bravo!
Great video 👏🏾🇧🇷
Mon dieu c'est si beau❤️
A lot of them are Don being alone and sad, at the end he's happy
