This has to be my favourite car you've had on now! Mini clubman 1979 was my first car, which I dropped the MG metro turbo engine in and a car I wish I never sold! This coupled with a K20 which has to be one of my favourite engines, with my last civic being super charged at 432whp on stock internals never burnt a drop of oil in 5 years is a testament of how over engineered they are from factory. Love the sound of the bike throttle bodies and I agree I'd leave that as it is, but if he was going forced induction it has to be supercharged so it still retains the k20 characteristics but on steroids.

ok love this build big bro had a 1.1 bk in the day i love the fact this car has more power but same mini zip around. tbh with you i think mini and rover wanted to to change over to Honda engines long ago japan wanted that mini turbo addicted to our minis and so many rovers got the honda engine ROVER 216 COUPE SE 1590 cc ok nuff of me going on love MA the energy is what we all need thanks guys bigups

Absolute rocket of a car, what a build, and that sound ffs, love it. Everyone I have ever spoken too ,who has owned a mini loved it. I used to have a mini van, and being tall I could sit in the passenger seat and drive it, I used to cruse into the pub car park and freak people out.

Best mini I've seen and heard by a mile!

If this were an old Gt is should have had the speedo and shit behind the steering wheel not middle of the dash like regular minis (i think), My GT had the three dials behind the wheel not centered.

Beautiful mini and sounds amazing and rapid too ticks all boxes for me 😊👌

Awesome.. imagine it feels so much faster that low down and with that engine right behind you 👌

And allegro twin headlight grill will fit on a clubman. That was a great mod back in the 80’s. I had a similar colour 1275GT in the 90’s. It had a German Shepard living in it when I bought it. For £80. Absolute piece of shit. No floor. Snapped engine mounts. Went like absolute stink. I have never loved any other car I have had since. Absolutely loved seeing this one. Outstanding work gentlemen.

This has been my favourite video so far lads. Absolutely insane, awesome little car but you guys and Alex made the video with your reactions too. The noise and speed is obvious but you could genuinely feel how good it was from you all. Like you said, just what a fucking car. SO fucking good. FUCK. 😂 🙌🏻

In the 80's I had a 1275GT with the now banned JPS Styling. It was a killer little car, but as with all my cars back then I drove them hard and drove them fast with no conception of what they may be worth just 30 years later. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
