Hi everyone,
In this tutorial you will learn how to make a macrame plant hanger without a tassel at the bottom.
I am using 4mm single strand macrame rope, and the measurements are as follows:
6 ropes of 350cm each
1 rope of 140cm
You will also need 1 metal or wooden ring
These measurements are for rope that has a thickness of 4mm. If you are using 3mm or 5mm rope you will need to adjust these measurements accordingly.
The finished piece is approx 60cm long.

Thank you for this! I have searched everywhere for a tutorial for a plant hanger without the tassle. I'm actually experimenting with one now just going off of a picture of one, so we'll see how it turns out.

I have been looking for one without tassel. Thank you for this tutorial. What is the length of the finished product? I need to make one like this but need the finished hanger to be 24 inch in length. So based on your finished hanger length I can cut the cord according to the length I need. Thanks again for such a nice video tutorial.

I have 3mm ply cord. What does it mean to "adjust accordingly" for the measurements?

Hiya, if you are using 3mm cord instead of 4mm then I suggest using approximately 25% less. So make every rope 25% shorter than the length that is mentioned in the tutorial. When you are working with a thinner cord = less length is needed When you are working with a thicker cord= more length is needed Hope this helps
