Macrame Plant Hanger How to DIY Tutorial | Craftiosity | Craft Kit Subscription Box
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
If you’ve looked at gorgeous examples of modern macrame online but thought it might be a bit tricksy, we’ve got just the tutorial for you.
We’ve intentionally used a couple of key knot types that are easy to pick up to create this hanger for plants or bobbins.
This accompanies our Craftiosity Macrame Hanger craft kit.
You'll need:
- 50m soft woven cotton macrame braid (5mm thick)
- Metal ring (3 inch)
- Bowl or plant pot
- S hanging hook
Craftiosity is the subscription box of modern craft kits, available at www.craftiosity.co.uk

Excellent and clear tutorial. Thank you.
Beautiful tutorial thank you 🌹🌹🌹
You are simply awesome 👏 Thanks
Muito bonito! Parabéns!
I improvised towards the end to use up more rope. As someone else commented, there is an excess amount left over that is more than the usual leftovers (for me anyway), so I made more square knots to minimize waste. I used 4mm single strand cotton, so that could also be why I had so much leftover. Looks like she is using t-shirt yarn or something similar. It's probably a lot thicker so more is used during the project. By adding more length to mine, the hanger is able to accommodate larger plant pots (which is what I wanted anyway). I'm a beginner so I'm still learning and this was a nice tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
I love your style of instruction!! ❤ love that you pause and show! I am a beginner and it gets tedious try to pause at the right moment to see exactly what is happening. Thank you! Definitely subscribed! 👏❤

Lindo seu trabalho.
Thank you so much for your clear instructions in this tutorial and in the pdf! I used a thinner rope and adjusted the length of each rope which worked out very nicely. And instead of a metal ring I used a wooden ring. Very pleased with the result for a first time. Thanks to you!
