I love this. I do macrame all the time in my horse tack business. I made one of these years ago and it lasted a very long time even being outside. I use 6mm macrame cord for a lot of my tack designs. The macrame cord comes in an endless supply of colors too! Beautiful job! I just started a channel myself and it is challenging to get the camera and all the supplies ready to go. Thx for taking the time to make this. Awesome 👍
This is beautiful, thank you for sharing the full tutorial!
Me *has no room for a hammock in my apartment, doesn’t know how to macrame, and won’t ever have the time to do it* watches entire video, “hmm I see, yes” kudos to you girl! It looks amazing!

I actually did this project and all my friends loved it.. I’m not an expert but was able to follow the instructions and finish it.. now I have to find a good spot to hang it . It was a long project though, with full time work with a one year didn’t help too.. took me almost a month to finish it but I’m really excited. Thank you for this beautiful project.

@@dianaelenaleon I have my supplies but due to life being so busy I have not yet to get to it. I hope to get to it by the fall. I will update then. Good luck to you.. The video is pretty good with instructions watch a few times and write it down. Only set back is that supplies are slightly costly but the beauty is worth the extra coin in my opinion.
Lindo demais, vou tentar fazer!
Hermosa...un bello trabajo..👏👏👏🥰😍
Hey Lady, I watched your video years ago and have been salivating over it ever since! ❤❤❤ Unfortunately, due to a fixed income, I could never afford the materials. I've sold my house so will finally, finally have the funds to follow my dream. The temptation to spend money I cannot afford till closing in 30 days is palpable, but I must maintain a modicum of self control 🙃 Hmmm 🤔 WTH! Self control be damned. On my way to find and purchase materials to create this masterpiece whether I eat between now and closing or not 🤣👍🤣👍🤣👍 Wish me luck 🤞🤞🤞
Maravilhoso!!!!😍👏👏👏👏
It's amasong and just what i want and need for my balcony... only thing i'beginner in macrame so knots are big trouble to me, also attaching to cord, and on video can't see what exactly you are doing... AMASING AND SOOOO BEAUTIFUL ❤

thats awesome! I found your video trying to look for DIY tree net (space net) patterns to make it a bit more stable and more like a platform. Would you beable to do a tree net as well?

Hello, thank you so much for sharing. This is really nice. I am working with a small patio space but I am VERY interested in hanging a hammock. What are the dimensions of your hammock (how long and how wide is it)? Also, how did you anchor it? Is it just going into the ceiling joist with a hook?
Wow🤩
ur so good👍🏻
I'm going to try this to fit an old hammock stand I have. How long is your finished project? Not including the braids connecting the rings and outer dowels.
Perfect thank you! Can you write the measurements of the rods and the rings again please ?

Quantos metros de corda para fazer essa lindeza? Lindo lindo.
I loved this, I would love to make it. Could you please put the measurements in the description? It’s little hard to get the info from the video.
Love the video. How long total did this take you?
This is great! Thank you. Could you give an estimate of how much time this takes to complete? Just a ball park would be helpful.
@MeganBell

Hannah, with recording and everything it added a ton of time to this project for me. It’s hard to give an estimate for just doing the hammock alone. I would say I could have done this in two weeks in my spare time while working a full time job. But that’s without and children to factor in. It just depends on how much time you have to dedicate to it. If you’re quick and know the knots it could be done in a day or day and a half working on it straight through.
It was a little fast to catch on so to stop and start it to get it 🤪it’s going to take a week to finish one.. so beautiful though 🥰thank you so much for sharing 👍🙋🏻♀️🎄

Omg I got soooo confused but this is beautiful! I want one you should just make them I sell I would definitely buy because I don’t have the patients to make this 😂
Great Job, i have a question , do i need „fringe” that you made. its really pretty, but i dont have that much yarn . Do you think that hammock will be secured whitout it ?
@MeganBell
5 жыл бұрын
Lusia Zac. This fringe is only decoration, so if you do not have enough cord I would skip it.
Hello!!!! I love it! Can I get 6mm wooden rings? Will it resist? Can you tell me how long and thick the wooden sticks have to be, I do not see it in the video.
@MeganBell
4 жыл бұрын
I would not use wooden rings because the rings are the main source of support. They should be metal.
Good job! It looks amazing! I used to macrame way back in the '70s when I was a kid. One can only hang so many plants....now I see a much more practical use for the skill I have almost completely forgotten! I am inspired thanks to your video! And yes, I watched the whole thing! Just wondering how the cotton cord would hold up to outdoor space that isn't sheltered. I'd like to make one for my deck and wondering if paracord could be used.
@MeganBell
4 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! That is so awesome! Yes, macrame is nothing new and I agree, I love seeing it used for more than just plant hangers. You can totally use paracord by the way!

Megan Bell thanks Megan! I liked the price of the cotton cord much better so I’m doing that 😂. Got a size 3 1/8” inch corn but it’s still thinner than what you used in the video. I’m finding the measurements are not the same, so I’m having to adjust the pattern a bit to make it work! Boy those long cords are really the hardest part. I’ll send you pics when I’m done with the email address you included in another comment. If it has changed, let me know! Thanks for your help! Even though it’s hard, I’m really loving it.
Hi Megan this is beautiful. How much time did you take to complete this.
Hi, i love this! How much string have you done in total? It's hard for me to count because I'm trying to convert to meters. Thank you
