Mackonreal: Life after Basic training Do's and Don'ts

So in this video I cover what its like being an older soldier here, being married and how it affects your relationship while you're gone. Some of the daily life of AIT and things you can be chaptered out for. And the term "inact"

+michaelpaulz98 well first off it's here in FT. Gordon, in Augusta,Ga, depending upon hat 25 series you are will dictate specific what you'll do in the field. All are essentially tehnology based if you are in the 25 series. Any particular 25 MOS you would like to know about?

Iris Rivera well for me being NG I returned home, once I finished AIT, but my understanding is if you're married and both in the service arrangements will be made that you too are stationed together.

Honestly I would just tell you to youtube 25N, I'm sure there is someone explaining all of this. But you'll still be at Ft. Gordon, so some of this will apply to you as well.

+Brandon Mack yeah i youtubed it but its not too descriptive on how it might actually be, one last question if you don't mind, I heard that if you're AIT is longer than 20 weeks or so you're wife can stay with you or you can stay with your wife how true is this?

  • @Mackonreal

If you're staying longer than 20 wks you can have off post housing but you would have to have the brigade cmd approval but it may not be worth it since they may not approve it.

Um it happened on occasion but my battle and I pretty much made sure we were nowhere around those types of soldiers that and he and I were the oldest in our platoon, and some of the oldest in our company so we didn't really worry about it too much.

I'm not I'm in the Guard ,and my battle is active. AIT's length is dependent on the particular MOS. As a 25U it was 18 wks.

I wouldn't recommend enlisting while in a relationship or married because my real mom before CPS took me and my sister's from her when I was a baby she cheated on my dad even with soilders my dad knew she works at the base still she works at the computer and when they took us she made my dads life hell and put them around my dad because they beat me and I was brused up my dad said they did it because I cried and wanted to make a man out of me,I was 1 was in diapers my dad found out because at that time my 9 year old sister told my dad what happened and my dad came out from Korea where he was fighting and recorded evidence and called CPS and when they came she wasn't around ,she left us alone for 2 hrs and a guy dropped her off,she even sold my dads things and didn't pay the house bill and my dad spent $3,000 to buy his weapons and things back from the pawn shop and acouple thousand for the utilities she still about that party life and guys over kids I met her last year when I was 18 which I spent money to take a bus for 3 days to NC which I live in Cali just to see her later regretted it she had my cousins jump me which are older than me they are also black they be throwing haymakers,my bitch ass uncle that needs to go back to prison tried to shoot me long story short I got a plane ticket the next day back and had to live with my dad because I lived with my grandparents but they moved
