I lived in BC for a while. And what stopped me from feeling much sympathy for the junkies and addicts.....was their tendency to sit in the kids park by my house, and stick their dirty used needles in the toddler's sandbox, or take a dump on the picnic tables. A kids park....that wasn't safe for kids. Or anyone else for that matter. And this was when drugs were illegal. I can only imagine how much worse it is now. But don't worry.....thanks to trudeau...it will be coming to your city next.
