Singh ran his own law firm before entering politics at age 30. He has real world skills and is not reliant on a taxpayer funded pension. You are more accurately characterizing Poilievre who has virtually zero real world skills, entered politics at age 25 - and over 20 yrs has become a multi-millionaire off the backs of Canadian taxpayers.
