They are great speakers at there price point!! And having 2 amps, a class D for bass and class AB for the top end makes them nicer on the ears. I have paired them with a sub now and it makes a world of difference again!

Awesome stuff mate, I reckon you should put these outside and crank them if possible, would love to know the sound travel and quality at higher volumes. I am considering the 12" variant so bass would be slightly lower but if you're able to do a test on these I would appreciate it.

Good afternoon! If it is about the equalizer, the type of music to use is DJ, but not that equalization to put to have the best result, the event is for 80 to 100 people in a room 200MTROS square I have 2 MACKIE 15 THUMP BTS. You would be so kind as to give me an equalization for this DJ use. I want it to sound amazingly well, and for this must have the perfect equalization or SUJERIDA for this use.. Thank you very much and SORRY for MY English.!

Hi Manuel, there are not many equilization settings to change on these speakers. You have Bass, Mid and Treble. There is also no way to tell how the settings will sound until you have them set up in the room your playing them in. I like bass, but find some source material lacks bass so I end up turning up the bass and the next song has way to much so end up turning it down. You can look into dynamic equilization systems which do this for you and give you better sound and system protection. Sorry I can't help more.

Reid Takeuchi these speakers sound fantastic but I would have to say they need a sub. I have some old really cheap passive beringer speakers also 15" and the bass they put out is not as smooth or as nice as the thumps but there way louder. I recently used these thumps in a garden, and had to use EQ to increase the bass, but then the speakers started to distort. If your after more bass, I would look at the mackie SRM range maybe. They use wooden cabinets rather than plastic.
