I like this video, I have the Mackie 2 215xt’s thumps and the 15” sub woofer. I have friends telling me I need more power with these other companies. But I started reading about the spl’s on speakers and found that the srm v-class 12” has the spl at 135 which really great to know. I just got back into djing and have events that require great sound and between 12” RCF, QSC, and the SRM V-Class which I’m leaning more towards it. Thank you for the video!

I got the mackie thumps 15bst and I must say they have shook some buildings

7:35 -> Is it new (software upgrade or anything) that you now can also connect these vclass speakers to a sr18s sub. As I remember, the manual say only the possibility for the drm18 sub? Thanks for the nice overview anyway 💪🏻

how different is it compared to the thump 215xt? in terms of loudness, clarity, bass etc?

I’d say so. To be honest it’s been a while since I’ve used a pair of SRM450s but these are a venerable flagship speaker.

Still use the SRM450 V1's that ive had for almost 15 years and honestly, i haven't found speakers that sound better. Mackie just doesn't make them like the originals anymore. They have their issues ofcourse, the over heating thing and all but i rarely if ever run into that problem because i simply dont have to push them as hard especially when i have a sub. Will admit that these ones look intriguing though

I always do 3 o’clock and control the sound volume at the source and it gets big loud.

Hello sir which speaker is better with more Technologi MACKIE srm215 v clas , Electro voice Ekx 15p or Mackie Drm315 i like the v clas 215 because have Bluetooth but what are you think wich one do you recommend me for partys and whata about jbl partybox ultimate is Loud

I'd go with the srm15. I have the original blue light thump 15 & the srm blows them out the water. Sound clarity quality bass. My buddy has Qsc kw152 he regrets spending all that money on them. 😂

Mackie or Yamaha is no comparison to Alto bro, they are waayyyy better (Yamaha best). Rcf is also very very good.
