But we know Simon ❤️ Your videos have become even more poignant to me now, as a very dear friend of mine has gone into care with Alzheimer’s. A very intelligent man, who hid his symptoms from even his wife, family and friends. Sadly, he doesn’t remember me 😢 but I still remember him. That’s what is important now ❤️

Just amazing, in spite of all the dementia challenges, it is absolutely undeniable that the one consistent memory specific to your Dad are all the songs he sung over and over in his life. The music provides the critical triggers that support his access to the long term memory in his brain. What a great video you will always have to feel and remember the joy both of you gave to each other as Father and Son, what a Blessing and Gift. Thanks for sharing, it's a wonderful reminder for me of all the Fun moments my Mom and I had during her Dementia.

i just don’t understand how I never heard of this incredibly talented man until i stumbled onto him on youtube!!! he brings back so many memories of my mom going around the house singing the exact same songs!! i love it!! btw, my mom is also from England!! 😊

My dad couldn't sing, so how come you know all his favourite songs. He would of loved to hear you sing them all. He was a huge Sinatra fan, he saw him live a couple of times. I wish he could of heard you live. It is May 2021. I will listen to you often.

Enjoy the time with your dad. My mum had dementia and past away 1.5 yeass ago. Not easy seeing your parents like this. I spend the last week with her and this was very precious to me. I heard about your dad through work. I am a supported worker looking after disabled Adults living in their own home. You and your dad make me smile and laugh when u drive and just sing. KEEP going just go with the flow. Don't think you don't know what to post or to say. Post Anything good or bad days. Show your support to your dad. He has an amazing voice and he loves it with passion. Even now

I work in Nursing home with Dementia and Alzheimer patients. When the families are having a rough day I always recommend you videos. I love the videos god bless you both.

One of my favourites! Love how your Dad holds that note at the end, especially. It is "All There Is". Completely out of time, out of of the Alzheimer's, out of all worries. I saw a movie on Netflix years ago called Alive Inside and became fascinated with the way music affects parts of the memory that were assumed forgotten. I then stumbled across your first video and my heart jumped at seeing your dad reliving his youth. I love his ability to really hold a note. He is an amazing singer!

OMG... I grow up with this song! I love this song... I listen to it often because it brings back so many memories of my uncles playing the song half in the bag of course! My first language is American sign language I put a video up of me doing ASL to it... You guys know the history of the song? So happy to see father and son!!
