    I starting on 76 driving the maxidine smol engine model 676 turbo and turbine very good power this transmission maxi torque two sticks in the first stick only 5speed and second stick high on low and reverse nice transmission i loves the old school I’m driving in USA FOR LONG TIME

    Dean wants to get better curtains in the sleeper that dont break..exhaust stack mounts that dont break at the top.. sleeper box that doesn't fill with water..the front end on this model rides like an old landrover bang bang through undulating roads..we have broken 2 front shock mounts already with care to slowing down to 80kph at munda rest area stretch of road because our superliner just don't like it. A real test if this model is aimed at linehaul 34pallet double market is not the hume but moree to warwick that shit shaker road caused our Mack to have a seizure!!

    @@aussiefirie I reckon that's a load of rubbish, I've seen guys running huge hp such as one KW with 1000hp C18 Cat with 2600 ft lbs torque (that's more than this engine) with a 18 speed road ranger and runs sweet, he even had it up 1400hp for a while at start and dropped it to 1000hp. I guess though if you have a moron driving it and rough and doesn't read driving situations right would easily blow a gearbox to bits with that power though so perhaps they have to put autos in to safe guard from muppets driving to be safe. Shame really cause a 18 speed in the right hands is much better imo, Especially off road.

    aussiefirie if you only want 600 hp you can get a real gearbox (roadranger)
