He was suppose to, especially after The Main Event on Friday night on February 1988! 'T.H.T.M. didn't want to drop the belt to 'Savage' like 'Vince' wanted him to, so 'Vince' screwed him back at 'SummerSlam 1988! 'The Ultimate Warrior' beat him under a Minute Flat!

wtf66611 oh ok i watch the re runs on KZread but only when savage was on the show cause i always thought they had great chemistry together. I was only around 14 years old but i clearly knew what i was watching. Wwf was hilarious back then.

WWF had Jr and Light Heavyweight belts. The Jr belt was defended occasionally at MSG.
