Me too. Same exact age as you. Wrestling was better back then. The only corny thing was they would usually have a match with a star and some unknown dude. They would save the big matches. For me the promos were the best part. I just can’t even watch these days, it lacks colorful cartoon like characters that it had back in the day. I’d watch again if it was like this. I met Jake the Snake at a charity event a few years ago, met Lita and Kurt Angle too. Lita was a sweetheart, Kurt was a nice man and Jake the Snake was the dude.

MM was a special effect, a human cgi before there was cgi, an AI within a brilliant character, a spiraling comet that you will only see briefly and feel privileged you did. He had no inhibitions whatsoever when he did promos. Awesome.

I'm 73 yrs old, and MM was always, over the top crazy hilarious funny, l practically die laughing every time I watch one of his promos, both of my sons also love his cool, unscripted antics, my one son can do him perfectly, if you close your eyes you think MM is in the house, he was the greatest of all!

Man. There aren't many who could cut a promo better than this man! Randy Savage's promos were all brilliantly off the wall!!

Flair had some okay promo's. I just liked how he would "whew" on people. Macho Man, Stone Cold, and The Rock made you believe you were right there with them.
