I swear the whole lace up album has helped me through many dark places in my life. Machine Gun Kelly makes music i feel in my soul. These older songs and his Lace Up message and shit have helped me in a way I can't put into words. But his hotel Diablo album has been another one that is currently helping me to understand and get through current and actually harder times. I miss the old mgk and his message in Lace Up. his El Diablo is much darker and doesn't bring the positive vibes in the way lace up does. And although I like and relate to El Diablo alot more it actually has me a lil worried about my guy. He talks about suicide and his struggles with the fame a close betrayal his family issues and drug problems and I completely relate to everything except the fame lol But when I get to dark or in my head I gotta remember the fucking message he brought us all. LACE THE FUCK UP! I Kno you won't see this kellz but I jus wanted to shout you out and comment this on this song cuz I came back to it today. To remember the message. And I know idk you personally bro but if you be having the same dark days as me, like your music is showing us man come back to your roots for a min and remember that message you taught me. LACE UP. I listened to this song recently after not hearing it for a long time...and going through some tough times and deciding to go a trip ive always wanted to go on my whole life. And nothing made me feel more like i was making the right decision. Hes a rapstar and a rockstar but most importantly his songs do so much for people.

I can relate to the intro as well, my dad never did anything with me and still doesn't to this day. My sister showed me mgk about 4 years ago and I've loved his music ever since, almost every song has an inspirational quote or something that really makes me think about where I wanna be and why I am where I am today.
