I have a Brothers embroidery/ sewing machine and I am just learning on how to download embroidery designs and saving them , then transferring them into the sewing machine 😀 and saving it on a flash drive....... I found this tutorial on how to download a pattern from the internet and save it to the computer to be very helpful. I sooo need to learn how to do this so I can purchase designs on my computer, now I need to find your tutorial on taking it a step farther by taking the design to your flashdrive. please have it soon.!

I don't know your machine but I looked it up online and it says you have USB port on your machine. Usually, if the designer is providing the file in the format you need for your machine, then you should not need software. You would follow the process I showed in the two videos and copy the file you need to your USB stick. Test it out with a free design download. When designs are downloaded, they may be zipped and it can contain many formats. You would only want to copy the format you need to your USB stick. Let me know if you have more questions!

Any suggestions with embroidery fonts from Etsy? I have them downloaded but I can only select one letter at a time instead of selecting a left center and right.

Sylvia, I'm not sure what machine you have, but unless you have software on your machine for editing patterns, you have to manually pick each letter and add/align them on your embroidery machine screen. It doesn't automatically do monograms. I have a video on how to do this on the Brother machine I own. It may be similar process on your machine. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gIOC1MV6lqrcirQ.html

can you delete everything under the jpeg except what you need for your machine. PES

This was clearly laid out. Thank you so very much. I am wanting to learn how to take the Hebrew alphabet, make it into a pes for my Brother se425 , so I load it to my machine for embroidery. Is this something you have a video tutorial for yet? If so, please let me know how to find it. Thank you again for your clear explanations.

I do not have a video on this. If you do not have embroidery editing software, you will need to find a Hebrew alphabet for sale online. Then you would follow a similar procedure that I demonstrated to download the alphabet and to place it on your USB.

+Rosalie Beyer You do not need software to download the designs but you won't be able to view them on your computer. You can just copy the files over to your USB stick or through the USB cable to your machine and it can open them. If you want to open files on your PC, you will need some software. I do not have software and don't open the files on my PC.

I watch KZread videos everyday & rarely have trouble hearing what's being said but this video has serious volume issues. I started on my Note Edge, went to PC where it was the same problem. I'm desperate for this help, already own many embroidery patterns, have experimented with downloading & using Winrar only to find that's not right so, do I delete those from my system or deal with it later.

+211ssw I'm sorry you are having problems with the volume on our video. I know this video has some volume issues as it was recorded differently from other videos we make. I'm not sure if you would be able to hear it better if you use a headphones or external speakers.

Great tutorial but I could barley hear you. Make more, I learned a lot.

it is very hard to hear the video. the volume is all the way up and I still cant hear. please you please fix or advise? thank you

+Elei Scriven Unfortunately, KZread does not give me a way to edit the volume of an existing video. You can try turning up the volume of the sound on your PC/device while you are watching this video. Be sure to change it back after!

Software is needed to digitize a picture into a pattern. We have links to Embird here www.needlepointers.com/main/ShowArticles.aspx?NavID=1508, which is just one program. I cannot recommend any as I have not tried digitizing yet. Hope this helps!

@@trendsettatay323 No, the programs for digitizing are not usually free. They may have a free trial period. Search on Google or a search engine for "free embroidery digitizing software" and you may find some options. You can also usually pay someone to make a embroidery file for you .

Is there anyway to increase the volume? I can not hear you! Very annoying!

Sorry, the audio on this video is low as it was recorded differently from our other videos. We cannot raise the volume so I added Closed Captions (CC) to the video to help. There is a CC button on the toolbar at the bottom of the video. Hope this helps!
