2 Synthwave Mixes in 10 days? And one of them Mach Two? I must be dreaming, this is too good to be true.

It's honestly incredible to really get to look at some of these scenes as isolated clips. I started noticing a fair few details I previously had never seen when watching the full OVAs, such as how the Fishbed L/N that the Tomcat is chasing sort of waves for a split second, or those three Sidewinder/Atolls zooming off to the top right-hand side of the screen. Also, kinda funny how when that Phantom pilot peels off and dives, only one of the Atolls the pursuing Fishbed launched goes after him. Guess the other one had a faulty seeker head (not at all uncommon, especially for early IR AAMs). Most importantly though, I love the way Mickey's Tomcat is shown here: It looks like some massive bird of prey diving after a teeny little desert rodent, who's only option is to high tail it out of there. The animation work is done incredibly well, showing that everyone involved was extremely passionate about this project.

Зона 88 одно из моих любимейших аниме. Такого антуража мало где встретишь). Некоторые задания из аниме похожи на задания из игр серии Ace combat. Например в AC7 есть 14е задание где надо пролететь через горное ущелье ночью, чтобы незаметно атаковать вражеский аэродром. И в аниме есть очень похожий по смыслу эпизод. А ещё в аниме очень красивая рисовка, несмотря на то что она довольно старая, но мне этот стиль безумно нравится.

It's beautiful, and it has imperfections, but I think they actually complement it in a way. EG when the MiG-21 is chasing the F-4, the clouds and sky scroll sideways, even though both aircraft are flying 45 degrees away from the camera. Imperfect, yes, but it's good and simple enough to implement to create a convincing illusion of what's actually going on, and the scrolling clouds and sky look beautiful. And when the MiG-21 and F-14 fly by, each aircraft momentarily slows down as they get close to the camera, before accelerating again as they pass by. It's a somewhat subtle touch that I imagine the animators used for dramatic effect, especially to make it more personal by helping us to identify each aircraft more clearly. Frankly, touches like these make this flight scene into a piece of art. Oh and, funny thing, I've never watched an episode of Area 88 nor do I know much about it beyond the SNES game.

a remarkable thing is that, it was that the missile problem by that time was vastly resolved except for the USSR that begun their missile research after I think that it was a MiG-15 that survived a direct hit from a faulty missile that didn't explode on impact or nearby. gotta say, that was in the middle of the Vietnam war and, the other missile went the totally wrong direction of instead of going right it went a bit left...

Kaoru Shintani was beyond obsessed, beyond an expert, beyond everything. People at Pierrot who knew and understood him worked on this.

Ceruleans three songs on here sound great. 0:00 Focus is a slow paced beauty of a song that speaks of a special someone and sunny summer day spent enjoying that day. I hear this song in my head all day at work. lol. 18:13 Reset is a heck of a lot of fun. A lively paced song that gets your feet tapping and your mind flying away from your everyday worries. Reminds me of an old Cure song at times. Really fun to listen too. 43:18 Moving On is a very technical song. it starts with minor tones which it sets the tempo, and then Cerulean builds in major tones that fly throughout the entire song. It's starts like worrisome song and builds to a bright finish. A multilayered piece of music artwork. Cerulean obeys the basic rules of tempo and never leaves the listener out in the dark with meaningless changes just to have changes. He is always taking the listener somewhere. And the destination is always worth the wait. I very much stress this is no negative comment on any other artist here. And whatever equalizing software EscapeVaporware is using, it has added some loudness to Ceruleans tracks that really makes them stand out here. The same for Ceruleans tracks on the Mach One video. His tracks sound really bass and great here. I hope Cerulean continues to make music his way and not to just make it. He's got a great sense of music.

This and mach one are the best driving or flight sim mixes i have ever had the privilege to listen to

Loving your Mach playlist, both One & Two. Can't wait for Three!! We go at full speed!! Although the MiG-21 was only capable to fly up to Mach 2, but it's big brother, the MiG-25 Foxbat was capable to go up to Mach 3, but at the cost of damaging its engines. Safest speed to fly that beast was at Mach 2.8 and pilots were told only to exceed to Mach 3 if absolutely necessary. Since the MiG-21 has now flown at Mach 2 in your video, I hope to see a Mach 3 playlist with a MiG-25 in it perhaps! Keep it up man. Best wishes from India!

I love MiG-25. My first fighter jet model I bought when I was in junior high school. They are rockets with cockpits and wings.

Technically the space shuttle is an aircraft (an unpowered one, so a glider) and it regularly flew hypersonic throughout reentry @@user-pe8yi9uh7d

This summer we traveled from Hungary to Greece by bus, besides some movies I listened to the Mach one playlist. It was a 26 hour journey. Loved every minute of it. And now we got the Mach Two.

Man...Synthwave music takes me back to Grad school. Walking through the halls of Pace University after finishing my Java fundamentals course for the night and on my way to get the 4/5 train home. Fall nights of 2018. Good times.

you can tell the budget went up for this one because they got 2 more aircraft (specifically theres a MiG 21 Fishbed, an F4 Phantom II, and an F14A Tomcat)
