Everytime a new Battlefield comes out, I hope that they just put this ORIGINAL song back in, without touching it. This is the best version and brings back so many memories. I wish there was a war movie with that song.

Exactly, that’s the kind of energy I feel too that this is embodying. Kinda like to have a backbone and withstand adversities with a profound sense of calm power and trust. **philosophy intensifies** And if not necessarily in the name of armed combat, then in a way of how one goes about the battles of life. How you deal with unexpected challenges and struggles that life throws at you. Amazing how the music goes over from this kinda mundane-sounding & discipline-inducing refrain into that dark uncanny sounding in-between part that gives off a vibe of profound uncertainty and anxiety, if you will. And then back to that aforementioned refrain, like ”the battle” has been overcome, life goes on but that inner strength remains omnipresent. If that makes any sense ^^ funny how I get so philosophical over a video game theme song lol

I would definitely pay lots of cash if I had just to watch it live... holy cow! Such a fantastic theme and they performed it extremely well even for an orchestra!

This made me tear up. This brings back so many memories and the fact that it's so beautifully played by these amazing musicians is just too much. Thanks for sharing. Listening to this live would've been mind blowing.

I really really really really really really miss them good ol Days of booting up bf1942..playing til the sun came up!..ugh!!!! Getting old sucks!! How fast time goes sucks!!!

This is the most affecting and beautiful theme song for a game. My pride is roused, my heroism is maxed, I am unstoppable listening to this masterpiece. The fact they altered or removed this from recent games is a SHAME. This song bleeds into your veins and makes you glad to be alive. Wow. This was so expertly played. Incredible performance.

Just found this video and while joyfully listening and remembering memories....i had to wipe my eyes...dirt got in them...

3:40 this part is rarely (if never!) covered in modern Battlefield theme
