MACAWS & NIGHTLIFE - Puerto Rico 2024 (part 3)

In this video explore Old San Juan, T-Mobile District, La Placita, and more!
In the final leg of our trip to Puerto Rico, we spend the first half of our day in Old San Juan exploring. We came across a hole-in-the-wall restaurant called Deaverdura (link below). This is a place that you have to experience for yourself, it had the best food out of every place we tried in all of Puerto Rico. After lunch we walked around town some more just seeing whatever caught our eye. We came across a man with 4-5 Macaws with him and we were immediately intrigued. For $5 it was a really fun and unique experience to have so many birds on you at once.

That's not insane. You haven't seen anything. The spectacular waterfalls, Caracoles keys, crash boat, Vieques las chivas and Caracas beach. And the islets with crystal clear waters. Lots to see and more impressive than what you have seen. Welcome 🇵🇷

That all sounds like fun! We hope to get back to PR someday and we will have to look into these!

The brown looking thing you ate at Deaverdura was blood sausage.

If you want to explore outside of San Juan then you absolutely have to rent a car. Uber only goes so far.

That is a very good point. Uber ended up being able to take us everywhere we wanted to go this trip, but if you’re looking to cross the island or go to the less-populated areas a rental car would be the way to go!
