That was some of the scariest 18 minutes of my life. It was like watching the early stages of “Casualty” on TV - you know, the bit where the guy climbs the wonky aluminium stepladder next to live power cables carrying a can of petrol..... Scariest of all is that i know that that is exactly how I will be very shortly when I get mine! Well done mate, a no b/s newbie review!

For your own safety please always push the router away from you, don't draw it towards you as you did at about 7:00 - unless you fancy having a pattern routed up your chest. Also your fence positioning is wrong - the golden rule is material to the left, cutter to the right of it, fence (if any) to the right of the cutter and always push the tool away from your body Happy and safe routing!

Good video mate I've got the same box of router bits only in blue, they aren't bad except for the dovetail cutter which seems to burn through rather than cut, even sharpened and slower speeds its still pretty useless. I nearly bought this router but i needed a fine adjustment dial for plunge depth which i needed for doing slot cutting for T Moulding when making arcade machines, i bought the bosch Pof1400ace and couldn't be happier with it and came in a hard case too, these routers are so handy for making skirting boards to match existing boards in your house ones you cant buy anymore , i use mine a lot, one thing though get your self some ear defenders those straight cutter bits are ear piercing.

Its great, I don't use it much but when I do its perfect for what i need it for. Dust extraction could be better as i'm finding build up of sawdust in places.
