The thing that gets me about Jesus’ crucifixion was not only the fact that He died on the cross; it was also everything that happened before then. He was betrayed, ridiculed, and even tortured before He died on that cross. And He suffered through all of that WILLINGLY. That is the definition of love. And we know what the Bible says about love: It never fails.

People don't know what Jesus has done for them and how much God and his son Jesus love them !

He created you and He loves you too much to let you wander into eternal darkness.

I always remember that Jesus could have cast the first stone but he didn’t. God’s mercy is that boundless. It has space even for me.

Though I may sin and walk willingly into darkness, God calls me to Him. He shall only stop calling for me when I am with Him. My soul weeps in these moments of clarity when I am not focused on temptation. I need strength to be free. I need Jesus.

Personally I think that this song refers to everyone, all of fall in some category and dont even deserve to be called blessed. Im just glad Jesus loved me that much to call me His.

In our woundedness, we can see the humanity of all people. We all have been wounded and to see our brothers and sisters and to create a safe space to listen to each other's story is about opening each other to love. To be vulnerable is to tell story and listen to each other. When Thomas doubted and see the wound of Jesus is like an adult doubting someone and want to see the truth. To go into the wound and for Jesus to show his wound to Thomas is part of our reconciliation. There is a victim who has been hurt, there is a person who has hurt someone. To accept the truth is to recognize that we are part of that woundedness of another person. Prayers for all. May there be truth, mercy, justice and peace towards reconciliation.

Just as He does for us. And when you think of the people who would give anything just to hear that someone loves them, and how their world would be changed forever, you can better understand the reason He came for us. And then you can better understand the reason He sends us to show other people examples of His love.

Very powerful song, very powerful album. It's definitely worth listening to for atheists as much as Christians, but maybe I'm just saying that because I grew up in an atheist household that loves Christian music - it's so passionate and full of spirit.

I came from a Christian household, and it's as hard to be a Christian. But same, on my side, I accepted Christ during the deepest suffering in my life when my life was falling apart and I was ready to give up, I heard a song about Jesus. It was a song about Jesus in the cross. Something I always heard about, but I never truly understand. Now I understand how it took for God to redeem us. So I cry whenever I hear the cross. :)

I urge you if you have not to follow Jesus. He can and will forgive you of all your sins as He did with me. We are all dead in our sin before we turn to God but once we do we have the assurance that we are forgiven and set free. It’s a difficult road but anything worth having is worth it and being in Heaven for eternity is the greatest reward anyone can get. The things on Earth fade away.

Actually, YOU LOVE HIM BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU. He loved us FIRST, even before we existed. I grew up in Church, but didn't understand this relationship. I was lukewarm, focusing on the things of this world. There was a time where I realize I didn't love God... YET, HE DIDN'T STOP LOVING ME, and never will. I asked Him to stir up a love in me for Him, & He did.. This made me see how much I need him for EVERYTHING. Ask and it shall be given to thee. Luke 11:9 :)

My heart breaks every time I hear this song. Not with sorrow, but joy.

Music has never moved me to tears so much in my entire life, until I discovered this album. He is evident in every song. Absolutely love this album, just so in awe how every word relates to me. God is good, God is love!

I was just recently diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Crohn’s isn’t that bad when it’s treated but at this point in time I don’t have any medicine because it’s still in the process of being prescribed. I’ve been dealing with chronic symptoms for the past month and a half and during this time I’ve truly questioned whether God really loves me, if he’s really watching over me and protecting me. For some reason this song popped in my head tonight because our church choir has sung it multiple times. Coming and fully listening to these lyrics just reminds me that no matter how hard my life gets and no matter how alone I seem, Jesus is always right there next to me, leading me through the storm. This song has just touched my heart so much and I’m so thankful for whoever wrote these beautiful lyrics😭🥰

he made you. He loves you because you love Him. he died to forgive your sins so bring them to the cross and i say that you are worthy!!!!! He says you are worthy. God never lies and i dont know what you are going through but He does! pray. He is your father and He will never judge you for anything i can promise you that!

This is the sum of "The Story"

God loves us as His children because we are made in His image. Though we are not perfect, should we accept God's salvation, His perfection resides within the very fiber of our being. If we reject God's love, we are saying Jesus was not good enough. What I mean is, it is not to do with our perfection or goodness, it is the light of God within us that stands as the justification for God's love for us. This grace was brought at a price, but all of God's children are chosen to receive this love.

I hadn't thought of it that way. I had thought of it as "You see all that is bad about yourself, and I see my beloved child suffering in a cruel world, so I came to show you love." But you could be right. He does already know what Heaven will be like when we're in it, finally the fulfillment of who we were always meant to be, so maybe He does mean "The reason I came is to transform you from who you are in this mess to who you'll be in Heaven." Perhaps He means both. That is the power of God's Word; it speaks to us all in different ways, although it holds the same truths. Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

There remains on the moon a red paper Bible. --- Please, I humbly ask of all you sweet people of all colors and ethnicities in America and this perishing world, make the only smart and good choice : believe and trust in Almighty Jesus Christ. Jesus said in the Gospel of John that: the truth will set you free. ( Jesus also said: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father(God) except through me.") Hello, may God be your only source of Love. I suffer from anxiety, there are times I think the world hates me and I hate myself. Negative thoughts fueled by negative circumstances. But God comforts me everytime. Just think of Him at your lowest point and never give up. Stay inside his eagle wings. Make him your very goal for living :)
