Y'all sitting here talking about how he talks and yes drugs may have a lot to do with it but also he is an artist. He uses words and feeling to produce his art. He probably thinks very deeply and overthinks most things. When you have soo much you want to say especially when you are trying to make the person understand exactly how you feel it can be challenging. I have never done drugs and don't drink or smoke but I do poetry and write music. I find I have a problem communicating effectively sometimes.

Absolutely, that's what sucks about the industry. So many immensely talented and unique artists don't get the publicity and hype they deserve while many who aren't talented or passionate get so much attention. Of course there are popular artists that deserve it but I hate the god-like image the industry chooses to give some people. I wish everyone was treated equal and could just vibe. I actually didn't like mac's music until I heard something from Divine Feminine when it first came out and then I went back and listened to some of his previous stuff and didn't like the early stuff but loved a few songs from GOOD AM and WMWTSO and faces of course. Found a lot of unreleased stuff that I could tell was him just chilling, being real, not trying to show how skillful his rapping is (which it is). But Swimming blew my mind away and I became a super fan.

It doesn’t matter how many years back an interview is you can’t kill energy and our mans still here with us❤️

As someone who has a difficult time articulating thoughts/emotions, it boosts my confidence greatly knowing Mac shared the same struggles. On another note, at many points in this interview, I felt like I had a deep understanding of what Mac was trying to say even when he was struggling to find the right words/phrasing. I knew what he was trying to say, but wasn't sure how I would express it either.

I wish those perks weren’t fake... shit he was only doing 30’s and he was barely even doing them. Had they not been fake he’d still be alive. Read the arrest docs for the dealer Mac hit up the chick after his dude fell through he ended up getting 2 packs of 10 30mg percs... they found the one pack of the 10 30mgs in his hoody they found the other pack which were the fake ones in his safe and that’s the bag he was in.... point is he wasn’t popping mad pills 💊 he was barely snorting a quarter of a 30 and it seems he had come down a lot. As much as it sucks, if that shit had not been fake he most likely would still be alive.

The Divine Feminine will always be my favorite album of all time! His music on it was so different filled with inspiration and love and unique, he sounded happy and had such a clear mind at this time. K.I.D.S. & Best Day Ever will always be classics! It really hurts me we’re never going to hear any music from Mac anymore. I went to high school listening to Mac, Wiz, Casey Veggies, Dom K and Curren$y. It sucks and hurts me he had overdosed, and couldn’t fight his inner demons. I wish he had this state of mind when he was in love and inspired. Thank you Mac for all the music and for always keeping it real. You’re in a better place, Rest In Paradise Malcom. RIP Mac Miller 🙏

For clarification purposes, when an addict is newly clean/sober, it is EXTREMELY common for their speech, memory and other motor skills to be delayed. The brain is literally healing itself and it trying to find its equilibrium again. I’m a recovering addict who works in the behavioral health field, and holds a degree in chemical dependency counseling.

I think he doesn't want to talk about faces because that was the time things started to go down the hill with the drugs. Was good music but I like the older and the newer stuff better than listening to faces knowing he was drugged out like hell

Love this guy. So real and okay in his own skin. Miss him a lot I felt like I knew him even though we never met. Loved making people smile and laugh and his music saved a lot of people. Reminds me a little of post.

wow. I didn't realize until now how down to earth Mac Miller was. He had an old soul and was gone at such a young age. Beautiful person.

Like wtf. I’ve listened to his songs since 2010 and I’ve just been laying in my room and seeing how much i relate to his shii. He is truly the best at doing what he does

In sooo many interviews Angela just gets her questions ignored and never even manages to finish her questions before being cut off, Mac is so sweet he literally makes a point of responding to her and acknowledging her speaking. You can tell he's just a cool guy

Mac was truly a pure angel you can tell that he was such a genuine pure soul the way he cared about ppl and music they say the good die young he was one of those shining souls!! That lit up every single room and person he came in contact with even through his music... until we meet again mac!! R.I.P❤❤❤

Grew up on this guys music, first concert was his. Havent watched his interviews since he passed because it was too sad. Hearing his voice and his creativity again makes me wanna cry bro this guy was progressing forward 😭
