Ladybird I honestly believe that the woke NBA doesn’t want a white guy from the southern Appalachians to come in and light up their so called superstars, and they see now that’s exactly what would happen. Hopefully some team’s front office will grow some balls and take a chance on him. A lot of people say he should go overseas, but with all the violence, and the state of the world today, I personally, and I’m sure most people who live here in Gate City would rather he stay here in the G League. He’s making a good living, and at least he’s safer here. It’s the NBA’s loss if they don’t sign him at some point. His team mates really rally behind his big plays, seem to love the guy. That is a great sign for any player who wants role on a NBA team (edit) 3:12 impossible shots like this really do speak to a truly gifted basketball player. His first step, picking up his dribble for a rim run starts just inside top of key, 2nd step just inside FT line, in traffic, and finishes with a right hand flip. Just the nerve to try a move like that is something. To pull it off is spectacular basketball. (edit 2) 6:38 for being right handed, his left also strong. Highly creative rim run, with an attack angle rarely seen for any player, let alone a guard. Left handed hook looked fluid and was shot with intent.
That’s because he’s an NBA caliber player held back from the NBA for who knows what. Get this man in the NBA already!!!
Put this guy in the damn NBA! The hell is he doing in another league???? This dude is better than bench warmers in the NBA -_-
Look at it this way, hes much better than many of the prospects in the draft. He would need to be more of a facilitator at the next level as he will not win as many matchups as before. If he can keep from turning over the ball at the perimeter than he seems like a really good option. I really like his ability to break a double team and force the d to collapse and his active hands on D.
Lets riot to get him in the NBA. He more than deserves it

I'm a Spurs' fan. I love Mac, but he just doesn't have the wingspan or overall perimeter presence on defense to be on our squad. Don't now what coach Pop is up to, tho. We do need a PG, and coach Pop hasn't really had one on the starting roster for a minute, now...

You're biased because he's from your hometown. You just want to see a small town cat shine, I don't blame you. But acting like he's a top 10 point guard in the league because he dominates the G League is a little crazy. The skill gap between G League and the NBA is pretty wide.

No good reason he is not in the NBA, honestly. Plenty of young guards in the league could not do what he is doing in the G League. He can shoot, orchestrate, pass, finish above or below the rim, and his confidence is as high as it goes. If nobody gives him a roster spot next year, he might as well go make some big money overseas.
