Three of the very best. Had the privilege of seeing Del on stage a couple of times and Doc one time. Both were at the Shady Hills Bluegrass Festival near Neosho,Mo. Both made it look so easy. Never got to see Mac in person, much to my regreat.

Rest in peace Mac! "Tis sweet to be remembered!" Amen 🙏

Got to see him, Marty Robbins and Slim Whitman in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1955. Tickets were a lot cheaper then than they are now,

Wish I could have seen him as well. But I did see the great Doc Watson on two occasions and Del McCoury--ditto.

IT does not get any BETTER than this, OH how we LONG for this quality of music perfect HARMONY and such faultless musicianship, can,t they see we are all fed up with so called /modern country CRAP,

They changed things around a number of years ago to appeal to a younger audience. It worked well for their sales, and it might not get back to this kind of music ever--or at least a long while. I totally agree with your comment.

I bought this CD used for only a couple of bucks. One of the best albums ever recorded. I knew who Doc Watson was but wasn't at all familiar with Del or Mac. I became a big fan of the two and even went to see Del in concert in Pasadena, Calif.
