One of my locals... ridden the red countless times haha... there were loads of fun offpiste trails there as well but felling works have destroyed most of them...

You are really lucky to have this as your local👍 It's a real shame when they trash the off piste when felling, it takes so long to build them up again....

Really excellent video - Mabie is such an excellent red as it really flows and can be ridden with groups of mixed abilities (so long as everyone has the fitness). This aspect is really well thought out.

We're off to Mabie in the next few days so a very useful and nicely done video. I have to say though that the crunch of wheels on rock is far better to listen to than the weird background noises that afflict the soundtrack.

Looks great! Coming to 7 stanes area in next june for 3.5 days from the Netherlands. We like gnarly xc rides and bikepark stuff, and natural trails like the red trails you feature. Which Stanes / trails would you pick for a 3.5 day trip?

For sure a was gaining momentum aswell would of been a sore one! Word of advice if anyone ever takes up mountain biking. Be sure to get some practice before hand 🤣

near to Dumfries. Easily got to by train if you want.

Ridden Mabie a few times and although its fun theres no way the red is a red....more like an easy blue

Thanks for watching 🙂 I would call it a trail centre Red, there is a big difference between a trail centre Red and a bike park Red.... It would be Blue in a bike park 👍

It’s definitely not the best mountain bike trail , I used to ride it but now ae forest is one of my best trails
