Last time I rode the Hardrock trail at Dalbeattie, one of the 7stanes trail centres, I didn't have a great ride and left feeling low on love. This time though, I was LOVING it. I think the Orange Stage 6 played a big part in that extra enjoyment.
I first rode in Dalbeattie forest 20 years ago, there were some trails, but really bad way-markers, very little single track and nothing like a map. Like the other sites in Dumfries & Galloway, they are a little light on traffic - which is good or bad depending on your point of view.
Dalbeattie Forest 7stanes provides a really varied offering, suitable to most skill levels, from families to single track worshippers.
I would highly recommend Dumfries & Galloway to all bikers!
