Judges in my state are hiring them right out of school, as opposed to back in the day when they wanted them to have a few years of freelance experience first. They actually come to the school and beg them to consider working as an Official instead of a freelancer.

There where many people leaving that house after KR, Did any of these vehicles get tested for DNA especially the plow jeep owned by BH? KR admitted to her father that she hit something. Did I hit him? Yes, you did! The defence story is totally absurd! The murder took place outside with KR smacking him with her vehicle. This is what the evidence shows…bits of tail light embedded in Johns clothes! Hopefully the jury figures this out…I trust they will.

Whoever gets the license to produce the film about this trial is lucky!

Absolutely! It’s also a must. It gives attorneys a chance to argue, instructions to the jury and object to something the judge did during the trial. It also gives council and state the laws the judge has set forth. You can’t do whatever you want in closing arguments.

I served on two murder trial juries over the years (one a Federal hit-man case and another a state (CT) murder case, both of which resulted in guilty verdicts and I am shocked by this Read case. The case by the prosecution has more holes in it than a giant sea sponge. The evidence against Read is essentially non-existent. There is, however, a lot of circumstantial evidence pointing to a cover-up. A not guilty verdict will be reached by the jury very quickly.

Another case of corrupt cops in that area!!!! Dirty cops all over there!!

Re: '"consciousness of guilt" ~ oh, "not" that she repeatedly said "I hit him", not that she woke up the daughter telling her she is "terribly distraught" or calling her own parents twice in the wee hours of the night (which unless drunk and co-dependent on the kids, a middle-aged woman does not do). 'Not' that she tells Ms. Roberts first thing "John's dead". 'Not' her declaring and assuming the worse all morning long. 'Not' knowing exactly where the body was in the blizzard conditions. There were many incidences [one of which - the phone call with John's sister-in-law - should not even be considered] yet the CW is only using these few~?

25:30 Consciousness of Guilt for the defendant is ridiculous. Every single issue brought up by the prosecution is a FAR REACH and is absurd. Compared to police officers disposing of their phones after being told to TURN THEM OVER FOR EVIDENCE is much more severe.

There are others on here it's like they decided to flood the comments. Nobody else could be so delusional.

If I were a juror, seeing the back and forth, and the seeming confusion and lack of credibility, I would focus on the digital evidence, the time stamps documented on the digital evidence (ie, dash cam), and their (Karen Reed's and John O'Keefe's) phones and fit bit thing. Pros made good summary of consciousness of guilt- how quickly she moved to get her stuff out of JO's house and move her car is interesting. When you are mourning, you don't care about familial strategies. You are mourning.

All of the evidence you listed shows she didn't do it. And they aren't married...she has her own house...why would she not get her things as the home of John is no longer her right to be in. She would need to get her things so the family can go through his stuff... correct?

If I were on the jury I would want to know how Reed’s lawyers brought the FBI ???? Next, why did the prosecutor not bring the evidence that she told her father- I hit something??? Also, no one in the house killed him- they were his friends- I hope the jurors look at the calls, the drunk driver, and the then they will do the right thing.

That Judge is so biased for the prosecution she needs to be investigated !

There's no murder weapon,cuz there's(No murder)case closed!

She should be guilty of vehicular homicide while intoxicated!!!!
