I read that good science fiction explores what it means to be human. Both Blade Runners explore that very powerfully.

This movie is some sort of warning, since the increase of male suicide and male loneliness this is becoming reality. We have lost men marrying cartoon characters and thats not because theyre weird its because they’re so lonely they become so desperate they do shit like this.

Yes. Blade Runner is an almost perfect preview of the near future, of course with some imaginaries to grab our eyes. But always hitting the core of the subject, the thoughts, the sadness, the atmosphere, the virtual escapism of our desperate loneliness is already happening.

Women are into this, too. I've read news about women having sex with robots or marrying with cartoons characters. Adding to the sad fact that this new generation are advocating no binary genre, transexual, etc. I am not against any LGBT+ person but people are getting lonely and lonely because all the strange changes emerging in this century. I think women and men are attempting to look for something which can fulfill their senses, needs and feelings but they are filling a dark hollow with nothing.

I just finished this movie, about 10 minutes ago. Easily one of the most moving things I've ever watched. It bombed in the box office, but now it's a prophetic masterpiece about loneliness, and the potential future of out society.

Now i understand why this edit was made. Just watched blade runner 2049 for the first time and the movie is beautiful. And even tho the ending is supposed to be happy it feels like shit when you put it in the perspective of joe. Which I'm guessing is what they went for. Really made me cry. This song ❤ I knew maybe 2 of their songs but recently found M83 and been listening to them on repeat for like the last week 😂 It's insane the amount of music out there you've never heard even tho it's super famous or just because there's so much music out there.

the "You look like a good Joe" line always hits hard, since that is the name his Joi model gives him

During "literally me" moments it's important to perform reality check and remember that i just a looser with no friends, not love wolf Ryan Gosling in 3 hours long music clip.
