I get a deal of 1200 usd brand new MacBook Pro 15.3 m2 and I choose this on m3 which is 1500 usd base models. and believe me for day to day tasks and if you don't have anything specific m2 and m3 difference is unnoticeable. however I think for something serious definitely you require then the pro version even m3 is not enough.

there are already m3 airs 15 incs on apple refurb store, 1295$ if you can get the 10% discount for a 16 512.

Apple is just crazy to do it this way. How tf do you release the m2 in 2022 and in april 2023 you release the m3 ?

Marketing, trying to get more sales, they removed the 15" m2 from the website because there's is not noticeable difference.
