(I'm just guessing but) it was because of her international career, and it is a lot easier to pronounce for English speaking ppl? Correct me if I'm wrong.) Search for Marit Larsen on youtube. She has a wonderful career/band/songs nowadays. She released an album in 2008. From before she has one album and one single as solo artist.

Marit sees Marion hardly ever, because Marion lives now in Carlifornien, so Marit has other friends. (I think that Marion has in Carlifornien friends)

Blackmore350 Yes, they met when they were 5 years old. Marion just moved to the neighbourhood. One day, her mother saw Marit playing outside so her mother thought it was nice for Marion to have new friends, and introduced Marion to Marit. They then became best friends, probably because they shared the same interest - music. They participated in many musical projects together since then.

avatarfootball david the record company ended their contract under the reason that their second album wasn't selling enough. Then they two decided to take different directions in music. It was sad for the fans, but I guess it was necessary at that time.
